You saw Shaw's badge on the nightstand as you heard him grab his car keys in the kitchen.

You-''Shaw!''

Shaw-''Yeah?!''

You picked up his badge and headed to the kitchen.

You-''You almost forgot your badge.''

Shaw-''Oh, thank you.''

Shaw kissed you as he took his badge.

Shaw-''I will see you and Emma tonight.''

You-''Ok. Be careful and catch those bad guys.''

Shaw-''I will.''

You kissed Shaw as Emma walked in and wrapped her arms and legs around Shaw's leg.

Shaw-''Uh, babygirl?''

Emma looked up at Shaw.

Shaw-''What are you doing?''

You-''I think your Princess is trying to stop you from going to work.''

Emma-''Don't go to work, Daddy.''

Shaw smiled.

Shaw-''Sweetie Pie, I have to go to work.''

Emma-''No.''

You kneeled down.

You-''Come on, sweetie. Daddy has to go to work.''

Emma shook her head and squeezed on Shaw's leg even tighter.

Shaw-''Ok, if she squeezes any tighter, my leg is gonna fall asleep.''

You giggled.

Shaw-''I guess I can go to work a little later.''

You stood up.

You-''You sure?''

Shaw leaned closer and whispered to you.

Shaw-''I'll go when she takes a nap.''

You smiled and nodded.

Shaw-''Ok. Daddy is staying home.''

Emma-''Yay!''

You & Shaw smiled at Emma but she still didn't let go of Shaw's leg.

Nick
Jack was having breakfast at the kitchen table and you were drinking your coffee when Nick walked in.

Nick-''Honey, have you seen my keys?''

You-''Not in the key bowl?''

Nick-''No. I checked the nightstand and my work bag. I can't find it anywhere.''

You-''That's strange.''

You looked at Jack.

You-''Jack, have you seen Daddy's keys?''

Jack just shook his head without looking at either of you.

You stood up, walked over to Nick and whispered to him.

You-''I think Jack is trying to stop you from going to work.''

Nick-''Oh, ok.''

You-''I'll go search his room.''

You went to Jack's room, found the keys in his car bed and went back to the kitchen.

You-''Here you go.''

Jack-''Mommy! Why did you give Daddy his keys?!''

You-''I had to.''

Jack-''Daddy, don't go to work.''

Nick-''Jack, I have to. I have to help a lot of people.''

Jack-''But why?''

Nick-''Well, because its my job. And your Uncle Jay can't do it without me.''

You giggled.

Jack-''Ok.''

Jack said sadly.

Nick-''I'll be home tonight, ok? Love you, kiddo.''

Jack-''Love you too, Daddy.''

Jack hugged Nick as you smiled at them.

Jake walked into the kitchen and kissed you and Skyler.

Jake-''Alright, I'll see you both in the morning.''

You-''I hate it when you work nightshift.''

Jake-''I know, baby.''

Skyler-''Daddy, don't go to work.''

Jake kneeled down in front of Skyler.

Jake-''Why not?''

Skyler-''I uh....I'm not feeling well.''

You smiled. You & Jake quickly knew that Skyler was trying to stop Jake from going to work.

Jake felt Skyler's forehead and cheeks.

Jake-''You don't have a fever. So, what's wrong?''

Skyler-''My tummy really hurts.''

Jake-''Really? Then why are you still eating ice-cream?''

Skyler-''The ice-cream helps a little.''

Jake smiled.

Jake-''I'll be home soon, sweetheart. I love you.''

Skyler-''I love you too, Daddy.''

Jake hugged Skyler as you smiled at them.
