Shaw

You were sitting next to Emma as she was sitting in bed and you were reading Disney's Tangled.

Emma-''Mommy?''

You-''Yes?''

Emma-''Can I have long hair like Rapunzel?''

You-''Oh. Well....''

Emma-''I wanna grow my hair as long as Rapunzel.''

You smiled.

You-''Are you gonna swing on your hair from the trees?''

Emma-''Yes!''

You giggled.

Then when you were done reading the story, you tucked Emma in bed.

Emma-''Mommy, sing the healing song for me?''

You-''Oh, ok.''

You smiled.

You-''Flower, gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine.''

Emma closed her eyes as Shaw smiled at both of you from the bedroom doorway.

You-''Heal what has been hurt. Change the fates design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine. What once was mine.''

Emma was asleep and you kissed her forehead.

You-''Goodnight, sweetie.''

You smiled, quietly walked out of the room and closed the door as Shaw was standing behind you.

Shaw-''So, she wants her hair as long as Rapunzel, huh?''

You turned and faced Shaw.

You-''Yep.''

Shaw-''Do you realise how much shampoo bottles she's gonna end up using just for one wash?''

You tried so hard not to laugh out loud because Emma was asleep.

Nick

You were sitting next to Jack as he was sitting in bed and you were reading The Lion King.

Jack-''Mommy, why did Scar hurt his own brother?''

You-''Well, because Scar wanted to be King.''

Jack-''But Simba is the King.''

You-''Right. You see, sometimes people are selfish and they want everything for themselves.''

Jack-''That's wrong.''

You-''It is wrong.''

Jack-''I won't be selfish, Mommy.''

You smiled.

You-''I know you won't because you are a very thoughtful little man. You're the best.''

Jack smiled.

Jack-''Thank you, Mommy.''

Jack hugged you and you read the story finish. Then you tucked Jack in bed and kissed him goodnight.

Jack-''Hakuna Matata, Mommy.''

You giggled.

You-''Hakuna Matata, Jack.''

You left the room and closed the door as Jack went to sleep. You turned and saw Nick standing behind you.

Nick-''Hakuna Matata, honey.''

You smiled.

You-''Hakuna Matata, Nick.''

Nick kissed you.

Jake

You were sitting next to Skyler as she was sitting in bed and you were reading Mulan.

Skyler-''That red dragon is funny, Mommy.''

You-''He sure is.''

You both giggled. You read the story finish and put the book on the nightstand.

Skyler-''Mommy?''

You-''Yes?''

Skyler-''Do you think I could save China like Mulan did one day?''

You were surprised by the question.

You-''Uh....well, if China is ever in danger again, I'm sure you can.''

Skyler-''Yay!''

Skyler stood up on her bed, grabbed her hair brush and pretended to be in a sword fight.

Skyler-''I wanna fight like Mulan did and save China and then the whole world!''

You smiled, stood up, picked up Skyler in your arms and spun her around making her laugh.

You-''You can do whatever your heart desires, my little warrior.''

Skyler smiled and hugged you.

You-''Come on, time for bed.''

You put Skyler in bed, tucked her in and kissed her goodnight.

You-''Goodnight, Ping.''

Skyler-''Goodnight, Mushu.''

You both giggled. Then you left the room and closed the door as Skyler fell asleep. You turned and saw Jake smiling at you.

Jake-''She's gonna save China, huh?''

You-''Yep. But I think when she gets older, she's gonna save her own country.''

You wrapped your arms around Jake.

You-''Just like her Daddy did.''

Jake smiled and kissed you.
