[Noelle's POV] (finally doing a POV oh wow.)

I froze in horror turning to see my mom on the porch looking out at us infuriated. Why now?! Out of all the times my mother had caught me doing things, why now? This was the happiest I've ever felt, I finally kiss my crush then SHE shows up?? I was so upset I could barely even form correct words. "Wha.. M-Mom!!" She showed a look of disgust, a look in which I'm very familiar with. "INSIDE!" She screamed, you could hear the anger in her voice. "That's your mom right?" Susie said frowning as she let go of my chin. I nodded "Y-Yeah.. I have to go now! S-See you later?" Susie nodded and did a small wave and I quickly ran across our lawn. My hooves making imprints in the ground from how hard I was running, this made me realize just how big our lawn is... Or maybe I'm just tripping out from fear. Anyways, I got to my front door to see my mom look directly down of me. "Dinning room table, now." She wasted no time in saying. I nodded and slowly walked into the dining hall. I knew we had a big house, but it felt far more larger when I was walking slowly. I eventually got to the table and sat down in the chair at one end of the table my mother on the other end. There was a moment of silence that lingered in the air, my mom every now and then giving glances. "Who was that?" She said sternly, but I remained quiet. "Noelle Holiday, I demand to know who that was. We can stay here all night if you wish." She said calmly but still with a tone of roughness in her voice. I hated when she used my full name.. It scared me for some reason. "S...Susie.." I said at last, my ears falling to the sides of my head. How was she going to take this? Hell if I know.. "You neglect to tell me what you where doing. Why where you late? I was told you skipped school, did you do this yesterday?" She piled up these questions on me. I didn't know how to answer her but I did the best I could. "She.. saved me f-from some people and... I owed her lunch.. That's all.. a-and I seriously fell asleep yesterday! I-I swear!" She stopped and studied me for a moment. She looked as if she didn't believe anything I said. "Alright, but that doesn't answer my question." I looked down and my heart felt like it was going to give out. Why now?! Why like this?! I mean.. I want to tell her, but with the way things are now.. No, she won't approve. But, if she really wants to know and if what happened between Susie and me was genuine I need to tell her now. "Susie and I... k-kissed..? So, yes. I am a lesbian a-and she's my.." I stopped myself as I watched my moms face curl up into a frown and her eyebrows furrowed. "Noelle... You telling me.." I looked down and nodded. For a moment she just laughed and shook her head. "Noelle, you do know that I have a reputation to maintain right? Everyone in Hometown looks up to the Holiday family. What do you think will happen to our respect once everyone knows about this?" I looked back at her. "N-No one has to know!" She let out another laugh, like she found this whole this hysterical. "Noelle, are you even hearing yourself? Everyone wants to keep up with our family. They will figure it out sooner or later." She cupped her hand in front of her and sighed into them. "Noelle.. sweetheart.. You are not a lesbian. I forbid you from seeing that girl again, for your own good.." My heart broke. I was so hurt but this.. Why?.. Why, did my mom not understand it at all? "Mother-" "Don't not 'mother' me. You listen to me, understand?" She sighed and mumbled into her hand. "I won't let you grow to be confused.." I was fed up. I know that I knew what I was doing. Without thinking I stood up and slammed the table.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not confused! I know exactly what I am! I like girls, and if you don't like it then.. then.." I stopped before yelling in a fit of anger. "Then fuck off!" She looked at me in surprise and horror. She took a long pause, trying to figure out what just happened. Suddenly I felt absolutely horrible for yelling at her AND cursing. "M-Mom.. I-" "Don't even." She said not even looking at me anymore. "Get out." She said sternly. "W...Wha.." I begun but not before being cut off again. "GET OUT." She said practically yelling. Her eyes pieced looking directly at me. "W-Where.. Where do you want me to go..?" I felt my eyes swell with tears. A few rolling down my cheek. "I don't care where you go.. No daughter of mine will live here and disrespect me." I was infuriated hearing this. I stood up from the table and walked to the door. I cringed as I opened the door and walked out in the night. The door slammed behind me as I just stood on the porch. Part of me wanted to bang on the door and plead for her to let me back in, the other half wanted nothing to do with her. 'I don't need her' I figured, so I started to walk... and walk, and walk... I had no idea where I was going. I was homeless, I didn't even ask for Susie's number. I walked in the ally over by the apartments. I looked at all the graffiti and the strange looking crafts and plants that grew all over the walls. As I walking a bit deeper in I saw a hunched over figure making an intense slurping sound. What is that?... WHO is that?.. I walked a bit closer. It was wearing baggy clothes but it was way to dark outside to make out any color. It had long hair and it was rather big, bigger than me anyways. "H-Hello?.. Excuse me..." I said gently tapping it shoulder. "FUCK OFF!" It said but then sharply turning around. "Susie?!" Susie looked at me in utter shock. "Noelle?... what are you doing out here?" She dropped the bowl which she was drinking out of, causing it to shatter. "I was going for a walk.." I lied. I didn't want to worry her or say 'I got kicked out'. That's sounded stupid. "No your aren't." She said standing all the way up and crossing her arms. Didn't fool her I guess.. "I don't want to talk about it right now.. why are YOU here?" I said. She frowned. "Don't have a house." "Oh, right.." I mumbled. How could I forget? "In any case, I'm walking you home Elle." Susie said grabbing Noelle's hand and walking with her. "You can't.." I started pulling my hand away from hers. "My mom uh, kick me out.." She looked down at me almost sympathetically. "Oof. That's sucks.." She groaned and leaned against a wall. I did the same next to her and whined. I felt my face get hot and tears start to fall again. "Oh, umm you don't need to cry. It's not that bad." Susie said trying her best to show sympathy. She wrapped her arm around me. She was surprisingly warm and comfortable so I nuzzled into her side and hugged her. She didn't do much in response except small groans every now and then. I curled my legs up and griped Susie's jacket. She slowly wrapped her arms around me in return. "I-It's really cold.." I sniffed and whimpered. "Yeah.. How about-" She picked me up and put her in her lap, wrapping her arms and jacket around my shoulders, then putting her legs over mine. "Better?" I stopped shivering and laid my head back into her chest making her make a small groan and a gentle sigh. "Yeah.." I smiled and closed my eyes. "Hey Susie.." I said. "Yeah?" She responded. "I want you to know.. I love you.." Susie stoped breathing and stammered for a moment. "I-I love you to.." She said then gave me a slight kiss on the head making my nose glow red. "A-Ah!" I said forgetting that that course actually happen. "Heh, nerd." Susie said resting her snout on my head in between my antlers.
