Chapter 9: Lakeside

(Sorry for being so vacant, I'm happy to be back! <3)

Noelle and I walked out of the school and it was a comforting quiet outside. It felt a little uneasy, because I was kinda of used to shouting and insults. "Hey, is it just me or is it unsettlingly quiet..?" I said looking around, walking closely to Noelle. "Yeah, a bit.. I'm sure it's nothing though." When Noelle reassured me I felt a bit better and relaxed from the tension. "Well, while it's a bit quiet the lake looks like a nice place to relax!" Noelle said smiling, looking out on the water. "Sure, looks nice enough." I agreed and walked to the lakeside. Anything to get away from the bare street. Noelle sat down on the bench and patted the seat next to her. "It's really pretty... don't you think?" Noelle said placing her hands in her lap with a slight smile. "Yeah, it's cool I guess." Truth is I do think it's pretty but my mind was somewhere else right now, Berdly. "Hm? Are you okay Susie?" She said looking up at me with a bit of concern. "Eh, I'm fine." She didn't looked convinced. "Your thinking about the dinner aren't you?" I shrugged. "Yeah, it's fine though, I know you wanna try and forgive him and all that." Noelle started to look a bit worried. I didn't want to upset her honestly, I just don't personally forgive him. I sighed and forced a small grin and Noelle just looked at me with concern. "Susie.. It's going to be okay.." She took my hand and smiled gently. Something about the way she does that is kinda reassuring honestly. "Your probably just overthinking it.. it will turn out alright I promise!" I groaned. Maybe she's right though. "Eh." I just shrugged and looked out to the lake. "I know what will cheer you up!" She said slightly timidly before taking her hand and pressing it on my cheek, turning my face towards hers. Was she really going to do this? I mean, not that I would stop her, but I thought I would be the one taking advances. Before I could even really say anything my lips where already pressed against hers. She tasted very sweet.. her lips where really soft as well, I'm not going to say I wasn't really enjoying this. She seemed really eager to go a bit faster as she put both my hands to her sides. Just as I felt like I was almost running out of air she pulled away to regain her breath. "J-Jeez Elle.." "To fast?" She giggled. "Actually, no. Your doing fine." I said smiling tracing my claw over her shape making her do a small squeak of delight. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders, gently squealing. "Heh, a bit easy are you?" I pressed my tongue to her neck making her squeal a little more. "A-Ah! I-It feels nice though!" She said quietly. Yeah, I definitely need to speed this up a bit. I rubbed her leg, and running my finger up her thigh, and under her skirt. Her pathetic moans was rewarding to hear. "Heh, nerd." I laughed and squeeze her thigh, then gently kissed her neck. I looked up at her. "You alright?" Her face was basically a tomato and she wore an expression of pure bliss. "Y-Yeah! Just a little a-awestruck! M-Maybe we should d-do this in private?.." I smirked and let her go. "Yeah, sure."

We sat in silence and just looked out to the lake. The deer was gripping my hand and was resting her head on my shoulder. It was pretty nice to just sit back and chill for a while, especially since the pressure of 'protecting' Noelle is just a bit complicated nothing I don't feel like I can really handle though. Within a while of just relaxing Noelle was fast asleep and the light was running low over the town. 'Welp time to go' I figured, so I picked up Noelle and started walking to the side walk. As I walked I heard a few people laugh (More specifically guys) and I could feel their sideways glances. 'Ugh I'm not in the mood for this.' I thought. I couldn't deal with this, not tonight with Noelle. I ignored them and continued walking, I had pretty much forgotten about how dangerous the town becomes after dark. Spending my time in ally's during the nights you would think I've seen a thing or two and honestly, I have. A lot of the stuff happens on the street though, but I've seen people getting sold, gang fights and drug deals in the ally I've been in a few drug deals myself actually but they usually want more than drugs from me. Regardless they usually tend to be more active around the time it is now, so had to be extra careful with Elle, but tonight was going to be rough as I started to get the feeling of being somewhat followed.. I didn't turn around but instead kept walking to no where in particular of course. One thing that you have remember when being followed is never lead them to were you stay. "So your just going to keep walking, huh?" I heard a very stern and angry voice say. "Turn around, I know it's you Susan.." I felt a sick feeling in my stomach. I turned around slowly to face the person talking to me. "Hello Susan.." The voice was none other than my father himself, sick bastard.
