Chapter one: The Talk

It was almost eleven AM and Noelle was sitting at her desk doodling while class was in session. Miss Alphys wasn't a bad teacher, but she could start talking about something and go on and on about it, even if it didn't pertain to the lesson. Noelle started to draw little roses on the side of her notes, it was something she liked to do in her past time. Not just drawing roses, but sometimes other monsters in her class. When she grew she always wanted to be a artist, it wasn't family tradition to be an artist but her father allowed it. After all, it was something productive to do. Only her close friend MK knew about her desire to draw and other things that she doesn't dare to tell her family. 'RIIIING!' "O-Oh! That's t-the bell um, make sure to do your homework and.. Remember, the dance I-is next week! Oh! And finish the projects!" Miss Alphys said then slumping down in her chair and watching her phone. Noelle's ears twitched as the bell rung and she quickly got up and threw her bookbag around her back and walked over to MK who was struggling to get on his own as he has no arms. "You doing okay?" Mk looked up at her and dropped his bookbag from his mouth and then hooked the strap to a spike on his tail. "Yo! I'm doing alright now. Ready?" "Mmhm!" Noelle and MK usually walked home together, it was nothing big they where just close friends. They started to walk out the building and to MK's apartment. "So, learned anything Elle?" MK said walking along with her kicking a few rocks for fun. "Eh, its all things I know. The anime she told us about was interesting though!" Mk nodded. "Yeah, that was cool, I want a huge sword one day!" He put on a sly grin and gently bumped her. "Didja see Susie todayyyy?" Noelle's face started to heat up as she playfully pushes MK back. "Don't tease me about that! Plus, she didn't even come today!" Mk just laughed and started to sprint towards his door. "Haha, alright dude! See ya Noelle!" He said jumping on his porch. "Bye MK!" As his door shut Noelle just laughed it off and started to walk on the sidewalk heading home. When she got home the inside was quite as usual with her dad at the hospital and mom working in her office somewhere no one was really around much anymore. Yeah sure, on a few occasions her mom would come home early but she was to tired to do anything anyways. She sat down at her dinning room table and unpacked her stuff. Books, papers and other things. A hour passed as she finished up the last of her homework. She was good at doing her work and worked quite fast compared to her peers who's focus was on having fun more than work. After pondering what she is going to do for the rest of the day she finally pulled out her phone and texted Kris

Noelle: Hey Kris! Was wondering wyut!
 

Kris: Chilling.

Noelle: Good to hear! 

Kris: Mhm. What looking for Susie again?

Noelle: What gives you that idea?

Kris: just a hunch. plus you always want to know about her where abouts

Noelle: I just want to make sure shes safe!!

Kris: Sure. Anyways she at my place.

Noelle: How come?

Kris: No reason just staying with me and mom

Noelle: Gtk anyway, tell her I said hi! <3 

Kris: K

Noelle: WAIT DONT SAY ANYTHING

Kris: I told her you love her.

Noelle: KRIS WTF NO!

Kris: She said she loves you to. 

Noelle: KRIS STOP! 

Kris: Im kidding you freaking lesbian 

Noelle: Shut up Kris.

Noelle's face was pure red as she tossed her phone on the bed and giggled. She layed down and stared up at the ceiling, watching as the fan blade spin round. He head filled with thoughts of the purple girl. The way she just did anything basically made the young deers head spin. Suddenly her phone pinged. She quickly scrambled to it and looked at her texts. It was from Susie.. She blushed insanely wondering if Kris had really told her how she felt.

Susie: Hey Elle, you don't have to respond but I want to talk to you. Can you come to Kris's house? Yeah it's about school.

Noelle: Sure!

A huge wave of relief washed over her, she only thought about what it could possibly be. Yeah, Susie said it was about school but NOELLE of all people to be chosen to hang out with them? It seemed very suspicious... either way, Noelle figures it would be rude to ignore their invite so she stuffed her phone into her jacket pocket and threw her jacket on and hurried to the front door. She opened it swiftly but before she could bolt out of there she was confronted by her mother. "Noelle? Where are you going?" Noelle put on a worried smile and twiddled her fingers. "O-Oh! Hello mom! Just... going to see a few friends..!" Her mother nodded and stepped inside. "Alright, be back before sun down, you need to clean up this mess." Her mother said putting her purse down on the couch. "Okay! See ya!" Noelle rushed out of her lawn and ran as fast as she could on the sidewalk. Her mother had always been a helicopter mom, but she didn't mind it to much. After maybe ten minutes of running she arrived at the Dreemurr residence. Out of breath, she knocked on the door. "Huff... H-Hello?" The door opened wide and a tall white fluffy monster was standing there, Miss Toriel. "Oh dear, are you alright my child?" Noelle nodded and fixed her posture. "Yes ma'am.. Just a bit tired.." Toriel helped her inside and pointed up stairs. "If you are looking for Kris and Susie, they are up stairs dear." Noelle smiled at her. "Thank you!" She then walked up the stairs and opened the first door to see Kris sitting on his bed and Susie sitting on the floor next to Asriel's bed. "Oh, hey Noelle." Susie said, Kris simply waved. Noelle blushed faintly and walked in closing the door behind her.
