Chapter 20

Skylar's POV

"Thanks for coming everyone!" I yelled to everyone as they got in their cars. It was the 4th of July and we had a party. I was about to go upstairs to shower and change until Colson ran down grabbing me and taking me with him.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"We're going to the beach. But go grab your bags first."

"For what?"

"It's a surprise. And you're the only one who hasn't put their stuff in the car." he said pushing me up the stairs. I just listened, not wanting to argue. I heard my mom and wondered why they were back. Something was obviously going on.

"So why are we here?" I asked Kenzie.

"I have no idea. I saw fireworks in the back of mine and Dub's car though." Right after she said that, Rookie and Dre ran past us, as fast as they could run, with boxes of fireworks. We had been walking down the beach for at least 10 minutes when Slim finally told us we could stop. The boys started getting the fireworks set up and me, Ash, and Kenzie sat down with the kids. They started lighting off the fireworks soon after that. Someone came speeding up to the beach but stopped just before they hit the sand. Ray Jr. and Ezzy got out of the car, which didn't surprise me. Ray always drove like that. I laughed and helped him get their stuff out.

"Well K was right when he said everyone was gonna be there." Kenzie said quietly.

"Gonna be where?" I questioned. I wanted to know what was going on.

"Uh, here at the beach duh." she said quickly and ran over to the boys. 

After a while the fireworks wil still going and a small crowd had gathered. I was sitting on the hood of Ray's car with Colson and Kenzie. We were talking and sometimes a fan would come say hi. Colson and Kenzie got up to take some shots and I was putting Allie in the car because she was getting tired.

I heard sirens and thought nothing of it until I was pushed in the car by Colson, who was followed by Kenzie and the rest of the kids. Everyone else hopped in the back of the car and we were speeding down to where we parked. Everyone was laughing and I looked at them like they were crazy. I looked at Allie and Colson who were laughing and I joined in with everyone else.

After we got in our right cars, we were at the airport and on our way to wherever the surprise was. He refused to tell me because it would ruin everything. I didn't care though, as long as everyone was coming and it was not another tour. I loved it, but they've been overdoing it with all these tours. 

Colson woke me up when the plane landed and went through the usual routine for the airport. I looked for a sign that said where we were and I found it easily. Australia.

"Colson! Why didn't you tell me we were coming here?!"

"I told you, it was a surprise! Are you excited?"

"Of course! Why here though?" he looked confused when I asked that.

"I thought you said you always wanted to visit here though-"

"I did-I mean I do. I can't believe you remembered!" I hugged him and I was going to kiss him but we were interrupted by Jess.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we need to get to the hotel. We have a busy day tomorrow!" I looked at Kenzie, who shrugged her shoulders and ran after Dub. I slowly followed, trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
