(First part is random but it's a filler ig, enjoy!)

Me and Colson had been back together for a little over a month now. We decided it'd be best for now if I didn't move back to the house just yet. Everything was back to normal, as much as it could be with us not living together yet. Kenzie and Dub were getting things ready for when the baby was born, I was working on new songs, and Colson and the team were putting together a tour for the album he had just dropped. He had been trying to talk me into going on the tour with him, but I wasn't too sure yet. We all knew I would give in and say yes eventually though.

-

It was May, and today was the twins birthday party. It was beautiful outside. The sun was out, which was a nice surprise because we had a very extended winter in Ohio this year. I was getting ready and Kenzie had been up getting the twins ready. We were having the party at the house, since it was so close to her due date.

I headed downstairs and started cooking the food while everyone else got things set up outside. It honestly felt natural to be here, this felt like home. The other house is nice..but I miss our  house. The other one is noticeably quieter too, without the boys. It felt empty without everyone. But like me and Colson had said, me moving back in now would be too soon, for the both of us.

-

"Mommy, when can we open presents?" Allie asked me. They were getting impatient, and so was I. Colson went to the studio to get something and he's been down there for a good ten minutes. I went downstairs to see what was going on. He jumped up when he saw me, stuffing something in his pocket.

"What was that?" I asked, confused now.

"Uh nothing. I was gonna do something today, but I wanna wait for the right time." he smiled and took my hand, leading me back to the party.

We opened presents first, then got the cake out and cut it. We let them make their wishes and blow out the candles. I was sitting at the table with Kenzie eating and suddenly I had frosting all over my face. I turned around to see Colson barely being able to stand because he was laughing so much.

"How's that cake Skylar?" Dub said as he laughed. I walked over to him with mine and smashed it in his face.

"Why don't you tell me?" that started a giant frosting fight. We went inside to clean up once there was no frosting left on any piece of cake and went back outside. We were talking to my parents and Kenzie was walking back to the table with Slim and Dub. She stopped before taking another step, putting her hands on her stomach.

"Guys, wait. I think my water just broke." she looked up to Dub and tried smiling. "It's time."

-

Colson and Slim helped Kenzie walk to the car while Dub ran to the house to grab their bags. I got myself and the twins ready and we ran out to the car. We showed up at the hospital at the same time everyone else did. We all sat in the waiting room until the doctor told us it was okay to go in. We sat there all night, and nothing big happened. Allie and Colson begged me to stay the night, so Dub let us take the chair.

Me and Colson were laying on the chair watching a movie and the twins came and jumped on us. The boys fell asleep and me and Allie stayed up for a while. Once I thought she was sleeping, I turned the tv off and picked Colson up to move him to another chair to make it more comfortable. I laid back down as quietly as I could.

"Mommy?" Allie whispered.

"What's up?"

"You wanna know what I wished for earlier?"

"Sure."

"I wished that you and daddy would be happy together." I smiled and pulled her closer.

-

Kenzie ended up having her that afternoon, so the boys were still sleeping like always. Everyone but me, Dub, and Colson left so it wasn't crowded. They named her Celeste; Kenzie always wanted to name her daughter that since she was little. She had to stay in the hospital for a couple days so I stayed for one day, then went home.

We all met up at their house on the day she was coming home. The boys wanted to make signs that said "welcome home celeste" and just surprise Dub and Kenzie.

"I remember when you came home with the twins." Colson said to me.

"I remember everything from that day perfectly. It was definitely a good day." he nodded and we heard the door open. They all ran to Dub and I walked over to Kenzie. Allie and Colson were sitting in the living room just waiting so they could hold Celeste. We all went and hung out in the living room until it got late. Me and Colson walked out of the house last and I started walking down the street until he grabbed my hand.

"So I was thinking.." he said.

"Oh, and I missed this?" he rolled his eyes and looked at me.

"No really, Sky. I think it's time for you to come home." my eyes widened and I looked up at him.

"You're really ready to do this?" he nodded.

"Yeah, but are you?"

"I think I am." he smiled and hugged me before he started walking away with the twins. I walked down the street and I heard him yell something.

"I'll be over to help pack tomorrow!"
