Not knowing what You did
I was so clueless
About Your goodness.
Funny how I used to seek
The love of those I meet
I was pathetic
Not showing I am needy.
Funny how I used to talk
Lifting my own soul
I was so awful
Thinking I’m not boastful.
Funny how I used to be
Before I heard about Thee
This truth greatly struck me:
Jesus loves me so deeply.
Funny how I used to think
It’s crazy to believe You exist
But now, to the world I say
You’re the reason that I live.
