You've watched over me
In my whole night's sleep.
You've made sure I'm free
From my nightmare's grip
And You gave me instead
The sweetest of dreams.
Face unwashed
Teeth not brushed
Hair unfixed
Eyes still sleepy
And adored with
Crystallized tears.
Yet You still made me feel beautiful
With the way You smile at me
Through that sun You've woken up
Earlier than necessary this morning.
