So a lot of random drama has been going on in my life lately, and it's made me a bit weird, but it's over now. And on top of all of that, my boyfriend had surgery, and school. So everything's just been crazy, but I'm back, and better than ever. :)

"The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves. We live in denial of what we do, even what we think. We do this because we're afraid. We fear we will not find love, and when we find it we fear we'll lose it. We fear that if we do not have love we will be unhappy."

The months that passed were a blur to Rachel. It was full of court dates, and talking about everything that had happened to her. Reporters swamped her house, trying to get details every day, and now that it was all over, and Chase was in jail, things were slowly calming down.
"RAYYYY" Screamed Jesus as Rachel was walking down the hallway at the end of the day. Rachel turned around and smiled softly as he approached her, "Hey," he smiled wide, slightly out of breath from running up to her.
"Hi," she laughed slightly, looking up at Jesus's face. Throughout the whole trial, and after, Jesus had been there, and he even testified against Chase. They were slowly becoming good friends, and Rachel was letting him in. She was tired of being scared, and Mikey was helping her realize its okay not to be.
"Do you wanna go out tonight?" He asked slowly, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red as he looked down into Rachel's glowing eyes.
"Uh... sure," she smiled; playing the books in her hands as her cheeks slowly matched his.
"Great. I'll pick you up at 8," Rachel nodded, the smile on her lips slowly growing as she walked to her car.
"What are you doing tonight?" Asked Mikey as he fell down on Rachel's bed as she rummaged through her closet.
"Um..." She hesitated, looking at one dress and at another, "Hanging out with Jesus."
"I thought we were gonna have a movie night sometime this week? I was thinking we could do it tonight." Mikey's eyes narrowed as he watched her shuffle through her closet, a sick feeling developing in his stomach.
"Oh, well you should've told me ahead of time," she shrugged, moving behind the door as she slipped on a white sundress with a pink floral pattern on it and slipped on a pair of white Toms and walked out, running her fingers through her curly hair, "How do I look?" She smiled, and Mikey rolled his eyes.
"Fine, Rachel. Just fine," he sighed, pushing himself off her bed and walked out of the room. A few moments later she heard her front door slam and she shruged once more and skipped down the stairs.
Mikey slammed his bedroom door and stared at himself in the mirror that was connected to his dresser. Rachel was happy, these past few months she had changed, and was finally happy. He was happy she was happy, but as each day went by, it seemed as if they were drifting apart. He had fallen in love with Rachel, but he was too scared to tell her. He couldn't tell her he loved her, because he knew she didn't love him. Ever since Jesus saved her from Chase, he was slowly taking her away from him. Mikey shook his head and threw a watch that was right next to his hand across the room, the glass surrounding it shattering. He had to get Jesus out of her life.
