Chapter 20

So this is my twentieth chapter and i think that this book is going great! Ive got over 15K reads!!

I get woken up from the chirping of the birds and realise its only a saturday, i look at my surroundings and frown, I'm in a very unfamiliar room, i yawn and stretch and end up making those weird dinosaur noises. I sit up and then everything comes back to me, the fight with jillian aka my mother. The date with Peeta, the kiss with Peeta. Peeta! I look to my side and Peeta is no where to be seen, i suddenly smell the aroma of bacon coming through the door, Peeta...

I walk downstairs and I'm greeted by an even stronger scent of the sizzling food, i make my way to the kitchen but i take my time not remembering which way I'm going considering the last time i was in here it was pitch black.

I finally find myself in the kitchen and is greeted with a back view of a shirtless Peeta.

Toned, tanned, shirtless, boy. Perfect.

He turns around clearly from all the noise i made thumping down the stairs like an elephant.

"Hey how are you feeling?" He smiles,

"Better thanks to you,"

"Well breakfast is cooking and i have time to talk, shall we?" He motions his arms to the table,

I walk over and sit down,

"So where shall we begin?"

"Well, i guess how im going to get my stuff from jillians,"

"I know! Lets throw tear gas grenades in there and then she'll run out and we will chuck on gas masks and grab it all!" I smack him over the head playfully,

"You idiot, i would, but it would contaminate all my things!"

"Oh yeah true, and that hurt,"

"Pussy..." I mumble,

"Anyway anything else?" I think about it before approaching the subject carefully,

"The kiss," he gulps,

"Oh yeah that right.." He scratches his neck,

"Look, if you dont like me just say it Peet, just soften the blow,"

"I do like you, its just,"

"Just what?"

"I'll tell you later at the beach,"

"We're going to the beach? Since when?"

"Since now!" He stands up and puts our food on the plate, and awkward silence surrounds us as we eat.

"Katniss, if i asked you to move to England with me would you?"

"well, i dont know, we havnt known each other that long, and i just got kicked out of my home, so possibly no,"

"Right ok" he smiles,

After we finished eating we got ready and went to the beach,

"Lets go swimming!" He yells,

"Fine, only if you go in first,"

"I know that trick. Im not five anymore, we are going in together."

"and how are we gonna do that ?" His smiles creepily,

"Like this." He swoops me into his arms and runs to the sea water that starts to overlap his foot as we get closer, he walks in until he's waist deep and its touching my back, i shiver,

"Ready?"

"Get it over with. Please do it quick." He smirks,

"We have time," i feel my eyes widen, he slowly lowers me in the water until i end up jumping in myself because of his torturous ideas.

I splash him, "asshole."

"You love me." I look down,

"So what were you going to say this morning Peet?" I feel something tickle my feet and think nothing about it.

"Uhm i do like you its just that im not single right now," i feel a stabbing feeling in my heart

"With who? Who are you with?"

He hesitates,

"Delly."

And thats when i was pulled under and stung by a deadly jellyfish. Yes deadly.
