Chapter 19

The so called 'celebration' with Peeta is going great. After we finished eating he took me to the beach and he was acting all nervous and i have no clue why. I am took out of my thoughts as i hear my name,

"Katniss?"

"Yeah Peet?"

He swoops me up in his arms so he's holding me like a baby and puts me on his shoulder, he starts to run to the water, meanwhile I'm smacking his back yelling at him to put me down while laughing my head off.

Suddenly I'm embraced by the cold icy sea water. I quickly stand up and see Peeta standing there laughing his head off with a grin on his cute little face. Wait what? I smirk at him, he stops laughing and his eyes widen, he turns around and quickly runs.

I race after him, and jump on his back, he falls to the ground with a crash, so i'm on top of him. He rolls us over and he chuckles,

"Your not that strong you know right kitty kat?"

"Wanna bet?"

I push him off me and pin his hands above his head.

"Okay, so maybe your strong, but im stronger"
"So I'm strong?" I smirk,
He flips us over again so he's on top, he leans down and i feel his hot breath on my neck, he leans to my ear and whispers,

"Not strong enough," he then kisses my cheek, i blush, thank god its dark out so he doesn't see.

He gets off me and starts walking back to the car, i frown and get up,
"Peeta?"

He turns around but walks backwards,

"You kinda missed?"

He smiles and runs up to my still figure. He swoops me in his arms and lifts me up, and spins us around,
He puts me down on the ground, i put my arms around his neck and he puts his around my waist.

He looks into my eyes, he then leans in and kisses my cheek again,

"Seriously Peeta?" I just lean in and kiss his lips, he doesn't react at first, so i pull away, and run back to his car with him chasing me screaming my name.

I stop right in front of his hood of his car, and turn around and he stops right in front of me. He wipes away my tears that i didn't even realise were leaking from my eyelids. He leans in and kisses me, electricity shoots straight through me.
He smiles into the kiss as i kiss back.
He pulls away,

"Katniss Everdeen will you do the honour and be my girlfriend?"

"Of course i will,"

He kisses me again and he leans into me more until I'm laying on the hood car he keeps kissing me with him leaning over me.

I pull away,

"Peeta, maybe we should go slow cause uh," i scratch my neck,

"That was your first kiss wasn't it?" He smirks,

"Maybe" he laughs, i slap his arm,

"Its not funny!"

"Your right im sorry," he pecks my lips.

We hop in the car and we drive back to my house,

"Well it was a good night katniss but this is where it has to come to an end im afraid,"
He smiles, and i hug him and whisper in his ear,
