I actually enjoyed writing thus chapter, although it is short i enjoyed it and i hope you guys do to ✌️
When Peeta pulled over And turns off the ignition i step out of the car and breath in the cool night air.
"This, this is where it happened just right there." I turn around and point at the road.
"What happened?"
"The car accident."
"I thought you said it was back in Panem?"
"I didn't tell you this before but, I'm actually originally from here. Born in Panem, left to Kentucky because well of this" i motion the road and car park around me.
"And now im back because i missed home," i look to my feet as a tear falls down my now wet cheeks. I don't Peeta to see me cry, its just all to much in just so little time.
"hey Katniss, its ok, i didn't know you were originally from here., and that okay! When my family died i couldn't move because if i did i would turn out homeless probably." He chuckles,
"But also i didn't move because where i am now. The house, the bakery, this whole entire town! Its where all my memories are. I want to keep those memories, because even though they are gone, the memories aren't. The good memories over ride the bad. But they are gone, i've accepted that, but I'm only willing to get over it as long as you are too! Ok Grandma Kat?"
He pulls me into a hug, and puts soothing words into my ear.
I nod my head,
"Ok Peet, I'm sorry its just..... Thank you"
I lift my head and smile at him, he smiles back, he leans in and
A car drives past and Finnick screams out the window
"YASS PEETA GET SOME!!"
"OH FINNICK GO AWAY GO 'GET SOME' FROM ANNIE!"
He laughs,
"Oh whatever Peeta,"
He drives away but quickly yells,
"USE PROTECTION!"
We laugh,
"I swear to god he's been to Cato's again,"
I give him a questioning look,
"Whenever he goes to Catos house they get a bit tipsy and yeah,"
He scratches the back of his neck and laughs nervously,
"But dont worry Kat, i dont drink."
"Dont worry, neither do i,"
He smiles widely,
"Now ma' lady shall i escort you to the noble steed?"
He puts his arm out,
"Why, yes indeed you shall,"
I wrap my arm around his and we walk to his car.
