Chapter 2

Katniss POV

As I feel the car coming to a stop I open my eyes and wince as the sunlight shines through them, I get used to the light and open them fully, to see our house, its quite big but small.

I take my earbuds out of my ears and turn to face mother, but just in time to see her hop out of the car.

I walk in through the front door and almost gasp, it's huge!

"Do you like it?" I hear from behind me,

"Huh?" I turn around and almost scream of joy as I see who's Infront of me,

"Clove! Marvel! How Are you guys?"

"We're fine, doing well here in little Kentucky" marvel winks,
Clove shoves him slightly and chuckles,

"We're fine, we missed you!"

"Awww! I missed you to guys!"

"Well lets go get your stuff and unpack! race ya!"
Marvel and clove run up to my room where all of the boxes are, I just walk knowing them they're probably fighting over which box to put away or who's stronger at lifting my stuff.

I walk into my room to see my double bed, three doors, a little patio thing and I huge bookshelf oh and another door?

I walk through one of the doors and gasp

"I have my own walk in wardrobe!"

"Pretty cool aye!"

"Hell Yea!"

I close that door and open another,

"I have my own bathroom."

"Yea, bitches be jelly," marvel talks in a girl voice making us giggle.

I open another door and see its just a closet to out blankets and stuff in,

I walk over to the final door and scream of excitement,

"I have an ART ROOM?!"

"yea," Clove sighs.

I crash on the bed and look around my room,

My art room, wardrobe, closet, bathroom, my soon to be painted walls, my soon to be carpeted floor.

I hop off my bed and walk into my art room and grab my book for drawing and a few graphite pencils.

I walk onto my patio and sit on my chair and just look at the sunset and draw it, about 20 minutes later I finished my drawing and am satisfied.

I look up and see a boy looking at me from a window, when he sees me looking back he smiles and turns away but I call

"Hey!" he turns back around still smiling, and he opens his window

"Hey!"

"I'm Katniss! You Are?"

"Peeta, I take it your new here?"

"Yea just moved in today,"

"Cool,"

I see a shining light in the corner of my eye and see a motorbike parked outside This boy- Peetas house,

"Your bike?"

"Yea, if you want I can take you for a ride?"

I only just met this guy and he's asking me to ride his bike?

"Uhh, maybe some other time? sorry I'm just really tired from moving,"

He frowns,

"Whatever, see ya."

And with that he closes the window and walks away.
