Brallie: Together Again

Chapter 9:

Callie's P.O.V

I've now been at the Quinn's for almost two weeks, thing here were starting to get better but I still missed the fosters and most of all Jude. Thing between me and Sophia were good now we started acting like probably sisters, although I still though of Marianna of more of a sister to me than Sophia, I know I probably shouldn't but I can't help myself. I still see Marianna a lot, almost every actually but I miss her being around and I miss sharing a room with her. Although I quite often sleep at the fosters house since they still have my bed and said I can stay whenever I want to, which is quite often. I still see Stef and Lena but I miss them a lot, they were the first people who actually wanted me, which I will forever be thankful for. Thing between me and Brandon are better than ever now we don't have to hide or sneak around. I see him everyday like I used to and he often stays here with me or I stay with him. And tonight his taking me on our first proper date but he says it's a secret so I don't know where we are going. But as along as I'm with him I don't care really.

Brandon's P.O.V

I have band practice today, it seems like we haven't practiced in forever but I've written a few new songs in the mean time to keep me busy when I haven been with Callie but of course the songs were about her. I haven't seem Lou since the band played at the Quinn's and since the day we kissed which was also the day I got back together with Callie. I've texted Lou a few times and she says it's fine if we are just friend but I know she really isn't fine at all but I don't know what to do to make it better.

I'm snapped out of the thoughts when the door bell rings, I answer the door and Matt was there. 'Your early what are you doing here?' I ask him. 'Marianna didn't tell you, she asked me to come early so we could spend a bit of time together.' Matt tells me and at that moment Marianna runs down the stairs and throws herself at matt. I just walk away and leave them to it.

*a few hours later*

The doorbell rang again and snapped me out of my thought this time it was Lou and Jasper. I answered the door and we went into the garage after getting Matt from Marianna, which wasn't easy.

We had been practicing for about an hour or two now and Matt and Jasper has gone to get us some snacks, so it was just me and Lou. There was a long and awkward silence before I say 'look I know things are awkward between us and I don't want them to be awkward and I know I shouldn't have kissed you that day knowing I still love Callie.' 'Why did you then?' Lou snaps back at me. 'I guess I was trying to distract myself from Callie and convince myself I didn't like her anymore, but I did.' 'Well I really wished you had because if you had I wouldn't feel like this, I'm trying to not I really am but I still do.' 'Just give it some time, after a while you will just forget all about it.' I told her and with out me even knowing she had her hands around my neck and her lips were millimetres away from mine. I push her away 'don't even start that Lou, look you know I'm with Callie and I love her more than I would ever have loved you so just forget we ever kissed, and yeah I'm sorry I hurt you but that's the way it is, there will never been and us so stop evening trying.' I say and I walk out the room. Lou knows I'm with Callie and I wish she would just get over me already because quite honestly I don think I ever really liked her she was just a distraction.

Callie's P.O.V

I knew Brandon had band practice today so I told Sophia that we could do something together. I knew she had been desperate to take me horse riding and so that's what we did, and honestly I was looking forward to it but I was also a little nervous seeing as I'd never once ridden before. We reach the stable where two of the four horse were already tacked up. My horse was quite tall, hazelnut and it's name was Lightening which made me think he was very fast. Sophia's horse was about the same size but a black colour and his name was Shadow. Sophia fitted me with a hat and boot before helping me up onto Lightening and showing me how to sit and hold the rains, she got up herself and she headed out to the wood not to far from here.

We had been riding for about and hour and were riding through the woods for a second time when there was a loud gun shot some where in the distance, this spooked the horse which made him turn 180 degrees and charge into the woods leaving me and heap on the floor. I couldn't move, my leg felt it had been snapped in half and I must have blacked out because that's all I remember.
