Patton walked the halls, passing Roman, Virgil, and Logan's rooms the way he did every night on his way to his room. He always thought the mind palace was so peaceful in the evening. The way half the lights were off, the silence, it was all perfect.

The only thing is, he's been worried about Logan for quite some time. Patton knows he's been repressing his feelings, and he's been repressing Patton as well. All he wants is for him to be happy, but in order for that to happen, Logan must stop pushing him away.

Patton stood there in front of his friend's door, about to enter his room. He's scared, but that's never stopped him before. He knocks on the door. But he doesn't hear anything. The silence is broken when the intellectual side opens the door. "Yes?" Logan said.

"Hi, Logan," Patton began. "May I come in?" He asked.

"Yes," Logan responded, stepping out of the way so Patton may enter. "I didn't realize you were still awake." He said.

"Yeah. You know how I always like the mindscape at night." Patton chuckled. "Look," He began. He's so nervous, a little blush appears on his face. "I'm worried, Logan."

"About what?"

"About You." Logan is surprised. He thought Patton is there to accept everyone, but now he feels like he's being criticized by him.

"No, you deeply misunderstand," Logan says, adjusting his tie. "It's everyone else including yourself that always let their feelings get in the way. Not me." Logan opens the door. "So if you don't mind-" He is cut off. Patton has had enough.

"No, Logan!" Patton snaps. Logan has never seen him like this before. "You have feelings! You are capable of feeling feelings!" His anger turns into a light smile. "Maybe if you would just let yourself have emotions, you could be who you truly are!"

"Patton, stop. You trying to get me to be someone other than myself is completely unjust." Logan said.

"But I-"

"No. We all have our roles. You provide paternal values, and I provide intellect and reason." Logan began to guide Patton out of his room. "I have nothing to do with feelings, and I have nothing to do with you." He said coldly as he pushed Patton out of his room. "Goodnight." He added, shutting the door. Patton just stood there, speechless.

Sure, Logan would give him the cold shoulder every once in a while, but not like this. Patton could feel himself getting angry at Logan, but he knew deep down that he would never listen to his advice, so he walked into his room and shut the door behind him.

Patton felt helpless. Not only with Logan, but with Virgil and Roman as well. Roman has been feeling really bad about himself, and Patton is starting to doubt his relationship with Virgil. Given the latest videos he's been in, he's starting to think maybe Virgil isn't the good guy that Patton paints him as.

Patton sits down on his bed. Staring at the ceiling, he wishes things could be back to the way they were. Logan being brighter, Roman being more confident, and Virgil trying to be better. It was all so perfect back then.

"Well, that was rude. Is he usually like that?" Says an anonymous voice filling the room. Patton stands up as soon as he hears it.

Suddenly, he can see someone in the corner, a man, Deceit? Suddenly the figure drops the black outline coloration to reveal a yellow collar and a cape. Patton is already fed up.

"What do you want, Deceit?" He asks, trying to stay as calm as possible. Deceit walks forward. Patton stands his ground.

"You know, it really is a pity. If only your friend could stop hiding from his feelings, maybe he could be good with you." Deceit said with a smug look on his face. However, Patton might have no clue what he means.
