"Self Domination." Said a new voice. Deceit and Patton looked back into a dark corner and could make out a dark figure.
"Neurosis." Deceit and Patton say in unison.
"I thought you would never wake up, Patton." Neurosis said.
"Have you been there the entire time?" Patton asked, scared of what the answer may be.
"Duh. How else would I be able to keep tabs on you?" Asked Neurosis sarcastically.
"Maybe Cameras." Deceit added.
"It doesn't matter now," Neurosis began as he stood up and came out of the shadows. They could now see his black and orange trench coat and his piercing eyes with orange eye-shadow and black eyeliner on them. He walked up to Deceit and Patton.
Out of all the Dark Sides, Patton fears Neurosis the most. Whenever they were in the same room, Neurosis would always just be so... creepy. Or at least, creepier than how he is with the others. It's almost as if he targets Patton. Yet Patton never understood why.
"So, Patton, has Deceit explained to you why you're here?" Neurosis asked condescendingly.
"No." Patton responded bitterly, still on the floor, looking down. Neurosis grabbed Patton's wrist and pulled him up forcefully. He doesn't let go.
"I'm sure you're very confused and just want your friends back," Neurosis began. "But I'm afraid you won't be seeing your friends anytime soon." In that moment, Patton pulled his wrist out of Neurosis's hold. It hurt so he rubbed it with his other hand.
"Are my friends okay?" He asked.
"How should I know? I haven't seen them." Neurosis responds as he turns around to leave. "Come on, Deceit." And with that, Deceit follows him.
"Wait-" Patton says. Deceit and Neurosis both turn around. "Why am I here?" Patton asks.
"I'm sure he will tell you." Neurosis says in a foreboding manner as he leaves with Deceit by his side. Now Patton is alone in the room. It kind of looks like an empty attic (except for a mattress).
He walks over to the window, and looks outside. It's really depressing out there. It's like a waste land of dead trees. He sits back down against the wall next to the window and let his tears fall.
Meanwhile in the Mind Palace:
Logan, Virgil, and Roman were emotional wrecks for hours after Deceit left, but after a while they managed to cool down.
Virgil and Roman were on the couch together in their normal clothes (except for Roman, because he had his shirt off) while Virgil was bandaging up Roman, who had wounds on his back and arms. Roman winced in pain when Virgil touched one of his scars on his arm.
"S-Sorry! I'm sorry." Virgil says with a surprised reaction. Roman chuckles a little.
"It's okay, Virge." Roman says with a warm smile. Virgil smiles back.
"Okay, I just have one more." Virgil says, bandaging up the last wound. This really felt good for both Virgil and Roman. They liked not fighting for once. Sure, sometimes it felt good having someone to make fun of, but loving them anyway.
The disappearance of Patton made them realize that they need to stick together. "Okay, all done. Go easy on yourself. Don't do anything crazy."
"Thank you, Virgil." Roman said, standing up.
