"A WALL?"

Early the next morning, Alice was human again. A human in emmence pain. Pain that made it hard to walk, talk and move.
Her legs didn't feel like legs, they felt like brick walls that would never break down. Her head was throbbing, and she could feel numerous cuts form into long lasting scars.
Just after yesterday had gone her way, this had to happen. On a happier note, she got the sleep she needed, and didn't feel half as bad.
Alice tried to move, but her body wouldn't cooperate. She could just about move her head, that was it. Her right arm was twisted oddly, making it harder to try and move, she only hoped it wasn't broken. She had given the Weasleys a hard time, she didn't want to make it harder.
"Come on Alice" she mumbled to herself. "Just pull yourself up"
She grabbed onto the bed, and on the count of three, she hoisted herself to her feet with great difficulty and pain.
But she was up. Now, it was time to walk.
"Just one foot in front of the other" she muttered over and over again, until she achieved that.
However, all this comes at a great cost. Something that many of us hardly lose to this extent. She lost every bit of energy in her body.
She couldn't even blink. She also received the burning sensation in her throat once again, but the coughs never came.
She went from strong to weak in a matter of seconds. Its never happened before, and even Alice was worried.
Alice sat there until she heard the thundering footsteps of the Weasleys, rushing to get the best bacon, or in Ron's case, make sure Bill doesn't take his toast.
No one bugged Alice. They expected her to be deep in thought, and didn't bother to even ask her to breakfast, knowing she would refuse anyway.
"Alice?!" called Hermione. "Alice? Your Hogwarts letter is here!"
Alice perked up. She was afraid she wouldn't get one, knowing that last time she was put down as a Malfoy and she didn't know how many had found out that she wasn't one.
But she for once wrong in the best way. She was going back to Hogwarts. And she hoped that this year would be better than the last one.
"I'll......I'll be down in a minute Ms. Granger" She shouted back, using up the little energy she had gained.
Hermione knew something was up. Alice didn't sound the same, she sounded like she had been crying. She rushed up the stairs, Alice growing worried as she heard her footsteps come nearer.
