"HARRY!"

Pain seered through Harry's lightening shaped scar and he collapsed into a nearby chair.
His eyes fluttered shut as he saw visions of the small girl with black hair down to her waist.
He could hear the distance voices of Hermione and Ron, but he slipped out of consciousness.
Alice was lying on the floor, a small, weak thin arm covering her head, hopingto block out the seemingly endless spells.
Voldemort had his wand raised hurling more spells, until he had enough and left the girl for dead.
"Harry!" shouted Hermione, shaking him like mad. Harry opened his eyes, and the light blinded him for a moment until the vision crawled back into his mind like an unwanted vermon.
Ron and Hermione looked at Harry's terror stricken face and knew instantly he had seen something disturbing and he wanted to unsee it as soon as he possibly could.
"Harry what did you see?" asked Ron, looking as terrified as Harry.
"It's Alice" he said, short of breath. "Alice, she's being tortured by Voldemort"
Hermione gasped and Ron terror only grew.
The sweet, shy, whole-hearted first year who had been a mystery for the first while, was now within Voldemorts grasp.
"We have to tell Draco" said Hermione, breaking the silence and the other two nodded.

"How do you know that the vision wasn't planted there?" asked Draco, not believing what Harry had told him.
"Malfoy, Harry gets these all the time, and every one of them have been true, so believe him or don't" said Ron impatiently.
Draco looked at the floor. He knew that Voldemort was going to take her, he just hoped it would be later.
"Draco, have you been totally honest with us?"asked Hermione softly.
"Of course I have, but I know my father knows more"
Draco sighed. He wished he had stayed with Alice that day in the corridor. He wished he had helped her and not pushed her away.
But it was done now. And he couldn't change the past.
"Do you know where she is being kept?" asked Harry hopefully.
"No, I don't" he answered simply, guilt flowing with blood around his body.
"We'll find a way to find her, but we have to get to class" said Hermione, getting up from the library table and Harry and Ron followed.
Draco felt terrible. He did this to her.
He was the one who found out where Alice was staying. He was the one who forged the letter from her brother. He was the reason Voldemort had her.
