"i'm going to go home. i'll see you tomorrow J" I say holding Jonah's hand

he smiles at me.

"okay, hug my munchkins for me" he asks.

I lightly laugh and smile. remembering the day he came up with their nicknames.

jonah is over right now, and he's playing with deja and phoenix.

"Onah!" phoenix jumped on him.

he laughed loudly and I smiled.

"superman!" deja yells.

jonah picks her up on his feet and holds her hands with his. making her seem like, superman. she laughs loudly, but also screams from being up so high. i've tried to do it, but i'm short so.

"my turn!" phoenix yells.

the two started arguing and jonah was laughing.

"hey, you both can go. take turns."

daniel comes walking into the house with dunkin' in his hands and the kids scream and run up to him.

"what did you get me?"

or

"let me see!"

he shakes his head and moves his legs around our two screaming children.

"no, hi daddy. I missed you so much?" he asks sarcastically.

"hi daniel! I missed you so much!" jonah yells and hugs him.

I laugh loudly and the kids giggle.

"glad someone loves me!" daniel fake cries and phoenix thinking he isn't joking, pouts.

"daddy, don't cry" he makes grabby hands and daniel picks him up.

"all better" phoenix says kissing his cheek. daniel then puts him down and he runs away.

"you both are just too cute" I say.

I walk from behind the counter and press a kiss to daniels lips. which lasted longer than expected.

"ew!" I hear.

I pull away from daniel. I look over and I see Jonah, Phoenix, and Deja covering their eyes.

"jonah, seriously!" I say laughing.

I walk back behind the counter, and continue making the pizza dough. I look over and I still see the kids playing with jonah. I feel warm hands wrap around my waist, and a head on my right shoulder. I smile lightly, and put my hands over daniels.
