i sigh and I pick up my phone with shaky hands and click the green button. "hi baby!" I hear him yell from the other side.

"hi hun" I smile

"what you up too?" he asks me

I look around and I see I am still sitting on the bathroom floor, great.

"uhm. y'know just relaxing. the kids are asleep. what are you doing?" I bite my lip nervously.

"I am with my mom and dad at dinner." he says and I hear keri in the background.

"oh okay! well tell them I said hello and i'll let you go. okay?" I hear him sigh and his dad laugh

"okay, see you at home. I love you a lot" I hear him giggle.

I hang up the phone and immediately scroll down my contacts looking for a person that I needed to talk to.

as I was scrolling down the J's I see

"I wish I could talk to you still" I whisper.

I shake my head and scroll down to who I was looking for.

I press the blue call button and it rings and rings until I hear it stop and I hear his voice on the other end

"hi mommy!" he screeches

I immediately smile and I hear him laugh on the other end.
