To the woman who did it all
I wish you heard me when I spoke. I wish you knew I don't mean to hurt you with my "teenage problems." I wish you knew all I really want to do is venture out on my own, I'll always need you, but I want to experience life as well.
You've taught me so many things, sometimes I wish you'd be willing to learn some things as well. I know you try, thank you for trying. You didn't sign up for something like me in your life. Something with so many problems, so many "dramatic" teenage tears spilled on your garage floor.
I can't wait to name my daughter after you and tell her all about the strong willed, goal achieving woman she was named after. I can't wait to have you sit front row on the day I say "I do." I can't wait to live a life where I can call you and talk all about life. I'm so proud of the goals you're achieving and I can't wait to watch you move your tassel from one side to the other.
Thank you for being the woman who showed me the way through life.
