The girl who faded away
We went through so much it's kind of ridiculous. From playing fire fighters on your brothers bunk bed with our winter clothes, to riding 90 miles an hour down a back road with your new friends. I haven't seen you in way too long, but a part of me knows that's okay with the both of us.
We'll always have the memories of riding our bikes to school, playing Trouble until late in the night, your brother knocking me off a parks play place, digging holes in the piles of snow, and playing Taylor Swift songs.
We've both changed so much. I judged you for a relationship I thought would be toxic but is instead beautiful and sweet. You helped me through 2 breakups. You have a job, and I do as well. We see each other's snapchat posts and comment on the others cute Instagram photos, but we'll never be the same again.
But I think that's okay, because I still have the book of lyrics you made.
