Grayson's POV
My feet were resting peacefully upon the coffee table in front of me as I watched South Park. I heard quiet footsteps coming down the stairs and turned my head only to see my mother coming my way.

"Get your feet off the coffee table." She demanded.

"Sorry, ma." I apologized as I took my feet off of the small wooden table.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang; causing my mother to turn back towards the door. Her small hand wrapped around the metal knob and opened the door; revealing y/n and Ethan standing outside. My eyes widened as I gasped of shock.

"Ethan?" My mother gasped.

"Hi, mom." He sighed.

"Yo-you're out?" She asked of disbelief.

"I've been out for a while, okay?" Ethan said rolling his eyes.

Y/n elbowed him in his arm; signaling him to stop being rude to our mother. Ethan exhaled a heavy breath, and walked in. Y/n introduced herself to my mom with a smile as I sat still, unable to move.

"'Sup Gray." Ethan greeted me as he passed in front of my body and plopping himself on the couch beside me.

"Hey." I said as I exited my amazed trance.

"Come in, Y/n." My mother said.

"Thank you, Mrs. Dolan." Y/n replied.

"Would you like me to go fetch you some water or a snack?" My mother asked.

"No thank you, I'm good for now." Y/n politely declined.

My mother smiled at y/n and directed her into the living room, which is where Ethan and I are. They both sat down in the cushioned chairs across from us and waited for Ethan to start talking.

"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Ethan asked with an upset tone.

"We're waiting for an apology, young man." My mother replied.

"From who? Grayson?" Ethan sarcastically said.

"Ethan." I mumbled.

He looked at me; seeing that I wasn't in the mood for his stupid attitude. He sighed and looked back to y/n and my mother.

"E, there's something you might want to know." I said with an unsteady tone.

"Wait, y/n said I had to apologize to you guys. So here I go:" Ethan began.

"Mom, I'm sorry that I don't want to come home to a crazy, controlling, person okay? And tell Cameron that I'm sorry I broke her Nintendo in the 4th grade. And I'm sorry that this house is full of insane people who drove their own offspring away!" He groaned.

"Seriously, Ethan?!" I asked him out of anger.

"Oh yeah, I'm sorry for not telling you that I was out of the hospital, okay? I mean, you didn't even make the effort to find me after you found out anyway." Ethan said rolling his eyes.
