Chapter 13 - I can't believe I was ever your friend

Sarah-Jane's POV

Finally, Katie was about to go home. I was really tired.

Except both her parents came in. They stood by the door then shut it.

I had a bad feeling about this.

"So.. um are you here to take Katie home?" I Asked impatiently.

"No. We're here to see you." Said Katie's Mum.

"Me? I don't understand."

"Oh you don't recognise us?" Said Katie's Dad.

"Actually no I don't." I Said.

Both her mum and dad put their hands on their foreheads then they unzipped their human skins.

Oh god! The Slitheen are back!

"Sky! Run! Now!" I shouted.

"Not so fast." It was Katie. She held on to Sky. She had already taken off her human disguise.

"Don't you dare hurt her." I Said, tears in my eyes.

"I won't, as long as you stay completely still." Said Katie.

"I can't believe I was ever your friend." Sky said to Katie.

"Well the jokes on you because you were!"

Sky had never encountered the Slitheen before. We'd only told her stories about them. Sky would only have a faint idea on what was going on.

I wanted to run and get help. I didn't know what to do.

Katie's dad grabbed me tightly.

"Get off of me!" I cried.

"Uh, NO."

I couldn't move. If I tried, he'd probably kill me and I thought Katie might hurt Sky.

Clyde and Rani!

They were still in the kitchen. I hoped that they would come and help us.

No POV

Clyde and Rani heard noises coming from the living room. They peeked inside and saw Slitheen.

Sky and Sarah-Jane were being held tightly by the Slitheen.

"Come on Clyde, look for the emergency vinegar!" Whisperered Rani.

They were looking silently. Rani found the vinegar. Sarah-Jane had a separate shelf for the vinegar. Clyde and Rani grabbed two bottles each.

They decided that they would kill the Slitheen before the Slitheen saw them.

"Come on Rani!" Whispered Clyde.

"Let's get Katie first. She's got Sky and if we save Sarah-Jane first, Katie will kill Sky." Rani whispered.

Sarah-Jane's POV

"What do you want with us?" I Asked.

"Anything we can sell. So anything that you have that is valuable." Said Katie's Mother.

"Mum, could we take Sarah-Jane back to Raxocloicofalipitorious?" Said Katie.

"What a good idea." Said Katie's Dad.

"What will you do to me if you do?"

"If you're up there, you can't stop us. Plus, we can kill you and use your skin as a disguise."

"We'll be the richest family on Raxocloicofalipitorious!" Said Katie.

I saw Rani behind Katie and Sky. I knew what Rani would do, but it would get her covered in Slitheen slime.
