Sky's First Halloween

Chapter 17 - A new plan

Sarah-Jane's POV

Sky went to school the next day, feeling a bit anxious. She told me that Tiffany had been suspended so I didn't see the problem.

I put some vinegar in the living room, in a box labelled, 'Halloween decorations." The Slitheen wouldn't care about those.

I didn't think Tiffany and her family would come here. Especially when we knew her secret.

But then again, I didn't know what to expect. Maybe Tiffany would come here with quite a lot of Slitheen.

All I knew, was that I needed to be prepared. I couldn't risk being underprepared. I told Sky where the vinegar was just incase the Slitheen showed up and I wasn't around.

I'd also told Clyde and Rani, because they're here quite a lot. I wasn't taking any chances.

(A WEEK LATER)

Sky was happier because Tiffany had been suspended. She still hadn't turned up to get revenge, even though she'd already got revenge on Sky a while ago.

On Saturday, I trusted Sky to stay on her own whilst I went shopping. She didn't want to come with me, which was fair enough.

Clyde and Rani were busy with homework so they said they'd try and come over, but no promises.

Sky was keeping herself occupied. She'd finished all of her homework so I let her go on the PS3 whilst I was out.

And if anything happens, Mr. Smith is in the attic. Sky's a bright girl. She will know that she can rely on him.

No POV

Sarah-Jane got out of her car and was walking towards the shop entrance. Just as she was, a figure walked behind her and scanned her.

Sarah-Jane was completely oblivious to this because she couldn't feel the scan. She couldn't even hear the figure walking up behind her.

It was a clone scan so the figure had a clone of her. The figure used the clone to make a Slitheen skin disguise.

With Sarah-Jane shopping, the Slitheen could attack Sky. They thought she'd have no idea what to do without Sarah-Jane around.

Sky's POV

Mum was out so I was playing on the PS3. When I was playing, the door opened. It was Mum. She was back early. I didn't hear the car pull up.

"Hi Mum. You're early. Where's all the shopping?"

"It's in the car. I'll get it later."

"Don't you want me to help you? You've probably got frozen things."

"It's ok. Sit down."

"Uh... ok."

There was a knock at the door. Mum answered it. It was 3 adults I didn't recognise. She let them in.

"Uh Mum, who are these people?"

"Friends of mine."

Then, I had the shock of my life.

All 4 of them, (Mum and her friends) put their hands to their foreheads.

OH MY GOD.
MUM IS A SLITHEEN?!?!

"Mum?! Why are you a Slitheen?!"

"Well Sky, things happen for a reason."

The door knocked again.

"Come in!" Mum Shouted.

No. It couldn't be. Why was she here?

Tiffany.

"Hello family. Hello Sky. Did I miss anything?"

"No, just Sky's petrified face."

"That's ok then. Hang on a minute."

She put her hand to her forehead and took off her disguise.

It was me against 5 other Slitheen. I had no chance. I couldn't get the emergency vinegar. They'd assume something is up. I could try, but it's a massive risk I'm not sure I'd be willing to take.

Then, all 5 Slitheen went to block all exits. One was by the door, one was by the stairs and one was by the kitchen. Well now I couldn't go to Mr. Smith for help. The other two were stood with another Slitheen. Tiffany was by the Slitheen who was apparently Mum.

But it couldn't be Mum. It just couldn't be. They can't have killed her. They just can't have.

"What have you done to my Mum?"

"Can't tell you. But I assure you, she'll have one hell of a shock when she gets home." Tiffany explained.

Since none of the Slitheen were blocking the emergency vinegar, I decided to risk it. I had no other choice.

"What are you doing?" The Slitheen who was apparently Mum asked.

"Just, moving this box. I was supposed to move it before Mum came home."

"Well carry on then."

I needed to figure out who I was going to explode first. Maybe the three others who I had no clue about?

And then finish off with Tiffany and "Mum"?

I put my hand in the box and grabbed a water gun that Mum filled with vinegar. Now that was cool!

"Why do you have a water gun?" Tiffany asked.

"No particular reason."

I put the box down then aimed the water gun. I shot vinegar at the three Slitheen. They all exploded. I was covered in Slitheen slime but I did not care. When I turned to get "Mum" and Tiffany, I was grabbed. By Tiffany.

"Mum" took the water gun off me and threw it on the floor.

"You are coming with me!" Tiffany Shouted.

She dragged me up the stairs and took me to my room. Somehow she knew which room was mine.

"Mum" followed up behind her.

Tiffany and "Mum" were discussing a plan. I could hear what they were saying.

"Why don't we lock Sky up somewhere? We can use her as a hostage."

"Ok yeah but where?"

"How about... in there?"

They were pointing at my wardrobe. No. I was not going to be locked in there. They couldn't anyway.

"Mum" stayed in my room with me and Tiffany went to get something. She came back up with some chains and a padlock. "Mum" pushed me into the wardrobe and locked me in.

"HEY! LET ME OUT!"

"No. Come on Tiffany, let's explore this house. Find anything we can sell!"

They walked out. I was trapped and covered in Slitheen slime. I continued to hit the door and shout. They could've at least locked me in a bigger place.

My phone was downstairs, charging, so I couldn't call for help.

No POV

"Sarah-Jane" and Tiffany were looking around the house. They'd eventually found the attic. They took loads of things that looked valuable.

Mr. Smith came out because he'd detected an alien. The Slitheen ran before Mr. Smith could do anything.

Both "Sarah-Jane" and Tiffany decided to hide in the kitchen until the real Sarah-Jane came home. They were furious that Sky had killed three of their Slitheen. They wanted revenge.
