The moments come flooding back to Syn as soon as she is left.

She was on her home after another long day of work. Being a slave owned by Watto meant endless days of work with little to nothing to show for it. Watto felt generous, for once, and gave Syn a slight extra pay for the day. She was able to afford some fruit Jira's fruit stall. She was excited to bring home the delicacy to her parents. Days were rough, they haven't been able to afford fruit in for ever.

Most of her family's earnings went to Watto. Watto was a junk dealer and human trafficker who only cared about money. This trash of an organism cared less about any other living being, only how he could profit by their lives.

This was the only life that Syn had ever known. Her parents were slaves since she was born and Watto only grew greedier once he heard that they had a daughter.

Her mother and father were caring and loving. They took care of Syn regardless of their situation. They filled her head with hopes of love and freedom every night before falling asleep.

There is no power in this galaxy that could ever stop you, Syn. Her mother softly cooed as she wrapped her in her tattered blankets.

She was dragged from her memories when she suddenly felt the ship come to a halt. With the pass of a minute, the thick metal doors slid open with a swoosh, revealing multiple storm troopers.

Time to go. One of the storm troopers unlocked her cell door while the others flanked her, grabbing her arms and securing the area around her.

She was led off the TIE fighter and into the open hangar where rows of other deadly ships sat. The storm troopers jabbed their blasters in her sides to keep her on track of their destination, but she was still taking in her surroundings. Her sides ached from the constant pushing and she stumbled at every push and shove. They led her down long halls that seemed to never end and taking so many turns that her head began to spin. When the finally reached the end of a hallway, a door slid open, and she was once again shoved inside another unfamiliar, cold room.

The room was a deep blood red sending chills down her spine. She found herself pushed to her knees once again, eyes stuck on the black marble floor below her.

Is this the girl?

Yes, Supreme Leader. I was able to receive the payment from Ziro without difficulty. But before I left, I sensed her power.

Another set of guards pulled Syn from the floor, pulling her closer to her kidnappers. To her right, the familiar tall, black robes stood strong and emotionless. Next to him, a red-haired pale man stood in a strict, military manner.

She is weak now, but I can sense the force is strong with this one.

Syn finally raises her head to come across a disfigured humanoid alien. His face full of evil and hatred, his eye hollowed and cold. A scar was placed in the middle of his forehead and the skin seems to be in the process of deteriorating.

You will train her as your apprentice. Show her the ways of the Dark side, Kylo Ren. She will be a great asset to the First Order.

Yes, Supreme Leader.

The visual of Snoke disappeared into the air once the agreement was in place. And Syn was being pulled again by the guards of the Supreme Leader.

She was led down more circling halls that seemed to twist and turn. Every hall was filled with the same black metal walls and same glassy, black floors. It was impossible to remember which direction they were leading her and what direction she came from. Her surroundings were now cold and black everywhere that she looked.
