Chapter one: The new knight

Zelda gasped as she quickly sat up in bed. She could feel beads of sweat on her forehead, Impa quickly turned to her,

"Zelda?" Zelda looked up to her,

"Oh Impa, it was terrible! I had that dream again... The one where I get engulfed in darkness." Impa sat at the foot of her bed,

"Now, child, it's only a dream. Everything is fine, I can assure you."

"Impa, you don't understand. You can't see my dreams..." Zelda sighed gently.

"We need more knights... Better ones at that." Impa thought for a moment then she finally remembered,

"We do have someone new." Zelda looked up to Impa, she quickly got dressed.

Zelda was later on the castle roof walk way. Impa was behind as she scanned the knights who were training. Two men stood out to her so she ran over to have a closer look. There was a knight with the usual garb, but the other had no helmet, he was blonde,

who is he? She had to wonder to herself. The commander then shouted for their duel to start.

The first knight jumped to attack the blonde one. He swiftly dodged, he was like a ghost. Before she could catch him he jumped and brought the practice sword down on the knight. As he regained his footing he quickly sheathed his sword and attached his shield to his back.

As Zelda peered down at him he looked up to see her, Zelda couldn't help but give off a small smile.

"Impa, what is his name?" Zelda looked back to Impa, but before she could answer a guard rushed towards them in a panic,

"Princess! S-Something is headed toward the castle gates!" Zelda glanced at Impa and they ran toward the front gates.

Zelda's eyes became wide, filled with fear. Darkness was approaching, luckily a small group.

"My dreams... They are becoming reality." She spoke quietly to herself. Zelda unsheathed her rapier,

"Impa, gather the knights!" She readied herself as Impa ran in to retrieve back up,

"Time for battle..."
