The sun had started to peek into the window of Link's room. His eyes slowly blinked open, then he remembered,

"Zelda?" There was no answer. She probably had to leave so we didn't get caught, I guess. He shrugged. Link was probably going to see her today anyway. He threw on his tunic and other gear and before leaving he grabbed the scarf Zelda made. He made his way to the training yard. Zelda was pacing slowly watching the knights practice, yelling out some commands. Link smiled when he saw her and walked up to her,

"Hey." Zelda turned and smiled.

"Hi, sorry for leaving, I think it would be better if we are secret." Link nodded,

"Makes sense, do you want me to take over? I am a graduated knight now." Zelda smiled and stepped aside. Link started correcting knights and setting orders. It brought joy to Zelda to see how important this all was to him.

All of a sudden a warning horn blew. Link and Zelda's heads whipped around to each other and they ran to the front gate. Sure enough there was another hoard of monsters headed their way. This time it was bigger, much bigger.

"We'll need all we got." Link nodded, going in and calling for every single knight they had. Shortly after Impa joined Zelda's side.

"Hello Impa." Impa nodded to her,

"I have found some recruits." Zelda looked behind her to see the Twilight Princess and The Princess of Bugs, otherwise known as, Midna and Agitha. Zelda smiled to them, knowing them very well.

"Thank you for coming." They nodded to her, Link then rejoined Zelda.

"Are we ready?" Zelda looked to him with a deep breath. He nodded slightly as she let out her breath slowly. Zelda proceeded to lift her arm, sword in hand, then forcefully brought it down. Everyone began to run forward at the hoard. Screaming and yelling as a giant bug swooped by Zelda. Then a giant hand eliminating everything it's path. Suddenly she felt a splash of water, Ruto appeared. Zelda smiled as she passed. The ground shook for a moment and Zelda looked around, Darunia. Then she heard another famine voice and looked in that direction, Lana. Zelda felt more confident, then Link came up to her.

"Everyone has come to help, let's kick some ass." Zelda smirked with a nod as they charged the hoard. This group of monsters were much stronger and Zelda had to pull some special tricks, tricks that she has never shown anyone. Link was also pulling some moves that no one has seen yet. The battle raged on until Link looked toward Zelda and that's when he saw an archer aiming. Link started running, and he ran hard.

"Zelda!!" He called out as the arrow was released. Zelda turned and her eyes grew wide. She closed her eyes and prepared herself for the hit. Everything felt slow, like time itself was stopping. Suddenly a loud ting noise rang in her ears. Her eyes shot open and there was Link, shield up and panting. Then he suddenly charged the archer swiftly. Thrusting his sword into the stomach of the monster. Zelda shook her head, snapping out of it. Link stayed by her side after that, and Zelda stayed by him. They protected each other and of course they protected everyone else. They all fought long and hard. The battle finally reached the end as Link and Zelda finished off the last enemy together.

Everyone was panting, some already collapsed on the ground. Zelda went to thank the rest for coming. As she made her way back to Link she placed her back on his and they fell to the ground.

"That... Was a good fight." Link panted,

"It sure was." Zelda chuckled, catching her breath. Link reached around and grabbed Zelda's hand.

"You aren't hurt, are you?"

"No... I'm not, thank you for saving me, again." Link laughed softly,

"It's always fun to save a princess, especially if you love her." Zelda's heart skipped as her face got warm. She smiled,

"I suppose that's true, isn't it?" Link leaned his head back to rest on hers.

"It sure is." Zelda gently squeezed his hand. She replayed the image in her head, the part when Link saved her. Only this time she couldn't help but think what would have happened if she or Link were to have gotten hit. All of a sudden Zelda was being turned around. Without a beat being missed a pair of lips connected to hers. She could recognize the lips, Link, of course. Link really didn't care, he needed to kiss her again. But Zelda quickly pushed back,

"W-What if people see!?" Her eyes darted around.

"Then I guess they'll be upset that I have one hell of a girl." Link pulled her back in, and this time, she didn't push back. Once everyone was back at the castle, it was decided that they would hold a celebration tomorrow evening for their biggest win. After everyone started to depart, in the huddle and bustle, Link and Zelda snuck back up into her room this time. Once they knew they were together alone they locked the door. Zelda turned to him, he had this look about him that she couldn't resist all of a sudden. Zelda walked towards him, swinging her arms around him, pulling him into the deepest kiss.

As their kiss went on their tongue found their way out of their own mouths. They wanted to explore. They allowed them to. Both stopped for air, they stared into each other's eyes. Link's sky blue eyes asked a question for Zelda's icy blue ones. Zelda nodded, knowing exactly what he asked.
