Zelda stood on a hill with a warm breeze that attached itself to her skin. She took a deep breath in when a finger touched her shoulder.
"Something wrong princess?" Link wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
"What isn't wrong?" Zelda sighed out and turned her head to him.
"Everything is wrong, Link! Hyrule is falling and you know it!" Tears threatened her, she couldn't handle the stress that was taking over. Link grabbed her and held her. She was so tiny in his arms. That's when Zelda just started to cry. She was silent when she did but Link knew.
"I do know, Zelda. I know that Hyrule isn't at it's best but we are trying.
There is only so much we can do at one time." Link tried to calm her down with a soft voice. Zelda just gripped his tunic.
"Why... Why is it happening? Who was that woman and what does she want from you? You can tell it's with you! As soon as I walked in her face changed... I could feel hatred..." Her voice was shaky. Link pulled back and cupped her cheeks.
"Listen to me. I will never let anything happen to you. If she has a problem with me, or whatever it is, I trust that you will protect me. And in turn I will protect you!" Before Zelda could say anymore Link gently pressed his lips to hers. Zelda's arms went around him quickly. One of Link's hands pressed on the small of her back as the other cupped her cheek. After their lips broke apart Zelda looked down.
"I'm just scared..." Her voice was quiet and shaky. Link just rubbed her back.
"I know, so am I..."

They both sat on the hill. Zelda was against his Link as his arm was slung over her shoulder. They watched as the sun began to set. Link turned his head to look at her. He looked back out to the sky and placed his head on hers.
"Zelda?" She shifted slightly,
"Yes?"
"Do you remember when we first saw each other?" He could feel her nod.
"It's been months, since then... But do you think we rushed anything?" Link's ears perked when he heard her draw in a deep breath.
"No, I don't think so. Why do you ask?"
"It just feels like such a short time. Also, I'm not anything special really. I'm just a knight." Zelda shifted and looked up at him.
"Ever since I saw you in the court yard there, I knew there was something about you. I felt something ignite inside of me... Like it was meant to happen." Link was taken by surprise by her sudden words and looked to her.
"You felt something? Like a spark maybe?" Zelda nodded, it caused a big grin to dance on his face.
"I did too." When Zelda smiled it was soft. Link's heart melted and he gently touched her lips with his.
"Do you think it has anything to do with these?" Link held out his left hand and grabbed Zelda's right.
"The Triforce? Well, there is a strong possibility. But I remember reading books about the past. About Hyrule's history. It's one of the reasons why you wear that green tunic, Link."
"I thought it was a sign of graduation." Link looked at her, putting their hands down. Zelda shook her head.
"It's the clothes of the ancient hero. The one who saved Hyrule many times and was dressed in a green tunic." Link hung onto her every word. He had no idea but now he was interested.
"And the stories have told that he was bound to someone." Zelda trailed off.
"Who?"
"The Princess of Hyrule." Link looked at her. This has to be a coincidence.
"Wait. Is there proof that I really am the great Hero in green? I mean... I know things between us have happened quickly but, I don't think I'm qualified at all." Link looked down as his hand, the mark staring back at him. He wasn't really qualified at all. And even if he was a descendant from the Hero, as every story tells, he still wouldn't believe it.
"Link. The mark on your hand tells everything." Zelda placed her hand on his.
"You are the Hero in green. Our paths were meant to cross. I believe that you are the Hero. I believe in you." Link slowly looked up to her. Maybe she was right. That Triforce of wisdom is one hell of a thing. Link gave a small sigh but nodded as a grin started to play on his face.
"But now only one question remains really." Zelda nodded at Link's statement and finished his sentence.
"What does that woman want?"
"She said her name is Cia. Sound familiar?" Zelda shook her head.
"That's what I thought... It's strange. She was acting weird, in a seductive way." Zelda didn't really enjoy that thought.
"But as soon as you walked in she changed and got really upset. Does she want something from Hyrule? Maybe to rule it?"
"Well that would be the logical explanation."
"You said before, Zelda, that you felt her hatred, yes?" She nodded.
"So maybe we should do some digging and really find out what she wants."
"So to the library?" Link smiled and lightly shook his head.
"Not right now..." He pulled Zelda closer to him, into his lap.
"...Let's just enjoy our moment for a little while longer." Zelda blushed gently but relaxed her body against him.
"I like that idea better..." Link smiled as he kissed the top of her head. When she was with him nothing mattered. Link just wanted to hold her. Her delicate frame in his strong arms. It amazed him that this woman could fight, although, at the same time it didn't surprise him at all. Link pulled her into a sweet kiss. They just had a nice night for themselves, they really needed it.
