Noodles

I've been with Pentagon for a few weeks now, and honestly, it has been the highlight of my life. They are so charismatic and entertaining. There is never a dull moment with them. I started calling WooSeok 'WooSeokie' and the first time the rest of the boys heard it they all laughed at him. Now, they're all pouting because I still address them formally.

Yuto has stopped bugging me as much about walking alone places, but he said that he still prefers me to ask for a ride. I told him I would. I don't.

Right now I'm on my way to a convenience store down the street from where I live. I haven't had dinner yet, so I figured I would just grab some instant noodles there.

The store was your typical street store with your typical uninterested worker. When I entered, he looked at me and let out a huge sigh before standing up from his chair. He didn't greet me or anything, just stood there waiting for me to pay for something so he could sit back down. After I quickly chose a small bowl of noodles, I paid for it and sat down to eat. I was peacefully eating when I heard the door jingle alerting the worker that someone else had entered the store. I didn't pay any attention to it and just played on my phone while I ate in solitude.

"A pretty girl should never eat alone," I hear someone say besides me as I'm shoving my face with noodles. What caught me off guard was he spoke in fluent English. "Mind if I join you?" He asked very politely.

I refused to look at him because I had noodles hanging out of my mouth so instead I just nodded. He chuckled as he sat down with his bowl of noodles. I could tell out of the corner of my eye that he had on a suit. I guess he just got off of work or something. Once I had swallowed my noodles, I look at the stranger beside me and was taken aback.

This man is beautiful, to say the least. He looks like he just stepped out of a drama or something. I can tell he is pretty tall. If I had to guess I would say somewhere around six foot. He had fluffy, chestnut colored hair, and deep cocoa eyes, but what really caught my attention, was his smile. It took up almost his whole face and as he smiled, his eyes became nearly non-existent.

I started coughing as I nearly choked on my noodles.

"Are you okay, Miss?" He asks as he hands me some water. I gladly accept it and nod as I regain my ability to breath.

"Yes, I'm fine," I say once I calmed down. "I was just caught off guard. That's all." He smirked in response.

"I apologize. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." What he was saying and what he meant were two different things. I could tell by looking at him, he knew the reason I almost choked was because of how good-looking he is. He's just too polite to say it and I appreciate that.

"Your English is flawless." I quickly change the subject.

"Well, I studied in America for three years. Before that, I was at the top of my class in terms of English." He admitted. There was no condescending tone behind his voice.

"Wow, that's really cool."

"So, what is a girl like yourself doing out here all alone at this time of night?"

"Well, I just got off of work about an hour ago, and when I got home I realized I hadn't eaten yet." He nods in understanding. "I don't live far from here, so I'm not too worried," I add.

"Regardless of where you live, the city can be dangerous."

"I know. I get told that enough." I chuckle at the thought of Yuto lecturing me again.

"So, where do you work?" He inquired.

"Well, officially, I'm an intern here for a couple months. Day to day though, I work at Cube Entertainment." I revealed.

"Wow, that's pretty cool." I could tell he was surprised. "Where are you from?"

"America. I'm a university student. I'm here for a business internship to help with my major, which is business administration."

"And they have you working at Cube?" He scrutinized.

"Yeah, well I worked with the manager of Pentagon my first day working and I guess someone liked me enough to have me stick around. I'm mostly managing them, but it's still experience." I say honestly.

"Wow. That's truly impressive." He jokingly clapped his hands softly and I just rolled my eyes.

"Well, I should probably get going," I say standing up.

"Wait, is there any way I can talk you into giving me your number before you leave?" I smirk and stick out my hand motioning him to give me his phone. I type in my number, but I don't put a name.

I start to walk away when he calls out to me one more time.

"What's your name?"

"I'm Clair Davis," I say with a soft smile.

"I'm Park SungKi." He returns my smile.

"I'll see you around Mr. Park." Is the last thing I say to him before I leave the store without looking back.
