Daadi's misconception

It was already seven when maan heard a shriek and got up startled. He looked around and the flowers brought him back to reality of his marriage. He could still here Geet's sobs coming from the bathroom. He opened the door and went in the walk in closet which connected the room to the bathroom. He knocked on the door, which Geet opened immediately holding her right wrist with left hand. She was fidgeting and blowing over her wrist.

What happened? Why are you bringing the roof down early morning?

Geet looked up at the ceiling thinking how will it come down.

I burnt my hand. Geet said showing him his hand.

He immediately held her hand and kept it under cool tap water in the basin.

Now, how did you manage to scathe your self?

I was trying to open that shower. It was a little complicated for me. She said shyly.

Maan dragged her to the glass enclosed shower area. What is so complicated here? He closed and opened the shower and showed it to her.

It was hot water.

Yes hot and cold water come from the tap geet.

But there is no geyser here so where did the hot water come from? I didnt switch on any hot water.

Geet dnt try to understand the plumbing just understand the shower. That is what you need.

He explained every bit to her. Now can you manage? By the way what were you doing in the shower.

Obviously taking bath. Geet said mockingly.

With your clothes on?

So did you expect to see me naked?

Geet, I cant deal with you. Dnt use my toiletries and dnt even think of stepping in my bathtub.

Dnt worry I have all my toiletries. She went to the closet were her bags had been placed last night and opened it. She started throwing her clothes here and there to search for her laundry bag.

I think by the time you find it, there will not be a single piece of fabric in wearable condition

I didnt pack my bag thats why. Geet argued.

Maan called from the intercom. Nakul bring a soap brush and toothpaste into my room.

A detergent bar too. I couldnt find one in the bathroom. Geet added.

Bring what I told you. maan kept the phone.

This is not your Hoshiyarpur. There is a laundry basket there. They will wash and iron your clothes in the machine. Dnt do it here.

All clothes cant go in the machine. You dnt understand. Geet tried to explain.

Maan pressed his nose bridge and gathered all his patience.

Geet you are a brain drainer. I m at loss. He spoke in a higher pitch. Instruct them and they will machine wash, dry wash or hand wash your clothes. Dnt wash them here.
