Newton's POV
I could not believe I was actually feeling those weird things into my tummy. I mean, this was totally weird and new for me. I never ever liked someone before her. But she was so beautiful, she was pure heaven. Her eyes, her hair, her everything.
I was looking at her and I saw her glancing at our parents so I looked there too and I saw dad was smiling. I kind of knew that dad liked May.
I looked back at her and touched her hand trying to comfort her.
"Hey, what's wrong?" "It's nothing, don't worry" she fake smiled me. I could recognize a fake smile and that was definitely one.
"Hey June, come on. You can tell me everything"
"Well, it's for my parents." She looked up from her feet glancing at me and I could see pure sadness into her eyes. I nodded. "They barely talk and I totally know my mom is sad. I can see it in her eyes. It's not that I don't care about my dad but he has got friends, you know. She's alone and I don't know how to make her feel better. I feel so useless." She wiped her eyes so
I got closer to her and hugged her tightly whispering. "You are not useless. You are amazingly amazing, June. Your mom loves you just like your dad. Do you know what?"
She looked up at me. "What?"
"My parents broke up and now my dad and my mom are better than before. And take a look, over there." I pointed at our parents and she looked at them. Her mother was smiling and so she did. I got closer to her ear. "She's smiling, she's fine right now. And my dad is happy too. Now, the only one who needs to smile is you."
She glanced at me and smiled softly. She was more beautiful than before. "Thank you, Newt."
