SEASON 2- Chapter 16 "oh my sweet sweet boy"

Emma POV

(its been the whole winter on the road running from things weve never seen before. We are heading to Illinois to the army bunker. its been invaded but i heard there was alot of food. and we wouldnt have to go out as much but i tended to survive. our thoughts were high. we didnt know what to do. we ran low on food as well. Alec was the only strong guy i knew that could do us some good.

as were driving into the night sky and off to to the bunker i saw a box not just some little box, i mean a big box. i look at alec and he looks at me with disgust. i give him a smirk and sit back. "we cant save it" he said looking straight forward, his voice husky and rough. i looked out the window and ignored him. suddenly the car went to a turn and we did a U turn onto the other side of the road. )

Alec- you better make this quick.

Emma- arent you coming with me.

Alec- of course, Just make it quick.

Emma- it might be food we have to make sure.

(we get out of the car and run towards the box looking down. i frown and look at a small puppy sitting in the corner of the box. he shook in fear and i couldnt believe my eyes. A hand gun was sitting in the box with the small puppy.)

Alec- Wow, how could this survive out here its freezing.

Emma- were taking it, its gonna die if we leave it here.

Alec- emma we cant afford the time to take care of a puppy.

Emma- please Alec..

(A loud rustle came from the bushes as we argued about the small dog. i look into the bushes while making my eye narrow. i walk towards the bushes slowly and hold my gun up put the safety off. )

Alec- Emma be careful!

Emma- wait... i think i see something.

Alec- Emma lets go! its not safe..

(i put my hand out and i move the bushes away quickly, my eyes come down to my chest. alec comes running to me and quickly grabs my hand pulling me back.)

Alec- Emma! What the hell are you doing!!

Emma- i-.. Theres people..

Alec- Emma we have to leave them.

Emma- there hurt we have to help them!

(i felt a a hand grab my ankle and then i fell to the ground looking back at the person. )

Voice- please help me..

(the girl had her face torn, i felt ass if i saw something i was supposed to see. i screamed and kicked her chest running up into alecs arms. )

Voice- i wont hurt you.. please my son hes hurt.. i cant help him, i dont know anything and what to do..

EMma- what happened to you..

Voice- those things out there attacked us and stole our things, one attacked my son so i stepped in.. and well karma is a bitch.

(she lifts up her arm and a bit wound was formed. i moved back to alec and look up at him)

alec- Whats your name?

Rose- Its Rose, this is RIver. and that dog over there its Rivers, He dropped it when they attacked us. please just save my boy, i beg you hes only a kid..

(i look at her and smile)

Emma- your gonna be okay Rose, River will come with us. and if you want you will to..

Rose- Please just take him, hes the only thing i care about.

(alec looks at me and frowns. i felt as if he was mad for what i did. i guess things dont always go as planned. i grabbed her hand and gave her the water i was holding and the rest of my grimsoul candy bar. i always hated them anyway.)

Alec- we will take care of him go ahead and say goodbye for what you can.

(i pulls her off into the bushes and look down at River. he was so pale and looked cold. i put her hand on his and smiled. his eyes started to open and his mother started to tear up. i felt a rush spread from the kindness i have done. )

River- mother.. Who are these people, why are you crying.

ROse- Oh my sweet boy.. they are gonna help you, and im sure youll be safe i promise.

River- Mom, you cant be serious, leaving me!

Rose- its the only way hunny.. you must go now, its beginning to sunrise. i dont want you to get hurt. please look after Romeo.. these people wont hurt you.

River- mom.. please dont leave me, your not gonna die we can fix this!

(he sits up fast and starts to cry while wrapping his arms around his mother. that good kindness fell. i never thought id see tears fall out of a 19 year old kid. but its normal..atleast he looks 19..)

Rose- your gonna be fine, these people will take care of you.

Emma-River.. we have to go..

ROse- please go my son, i will always be here..

(i grab his hand and pull him out of the bushes as his mother lets go of his hand. she pulls out a gun and a loud bang goes off when i hand RIver to Alec. he turns back and Alec catches him. )

Alec- River we have to go..

Emma- River look at me, shes gonna be okay. im gonna go grab the dog okay..
(I run over to the box and pick it up grabbing the hand gun and putting it in my back Pocket. I saw the tears run down rivers face as he got in the car and sat there in pain. Nothing came out of his mouth till Ace said a simple word.)
Ace-River do you like monkeys?
(He looked at Ace and smiles that was a first of an amazing smile. I guess he just liked kids.)
River- well of course! Did you know monkeys are the 3rd smartest animal on the planet?
Ace- really!
River- yes indeed!
Ace- cool!

(that was the first of the smile. Narix never said anything she just starred out the window. The car ran out of gas so we all decided to sleep in a barn near by, not much was said through the whole night. I take it as we all were just tired.

Alec and me got the top of the barn and the rest of them got there own stables. When I went to go lay down alec smirked at me. He didn't seem very happy. I might've done something wrong.. I must've..)
Emma- Alec are you okay?
Alec- I didn't want you to take the boy in, not even the dog.
Emma- I'm sorry.. I just thought we need all the people that can help us.
Alec- happy we have very little support on us right now. What God will it be if we all starve.
Emma- we can make it I promise..
( He lays down besides me and pulls me close. Maybe he was just worried I thought to myself. I didn't wanna think about it no more just wanted to sleep..

My eyes started to close as I curled up into a ball and wrapped my arms around alec, I felt a small heart beat from his chest and I smile grabbing his hand. He puts the blanket over. Us and kisses my forehead. He mumbles in my ear and we both drift off to sleep giving thoughts on how we would probably save the world)

This chapter was like incredibly short um sorryyyyy!!I literally finished this chapter at 12:29 am and it was a pain IM SO TIRED!! Anyway
Is river bad or good?
Is Alec and Emma gonna have problems with there relationship?
(also uh if you see some mistakes EXCUSE THAT once again it's like 12:30 in the morning😂❤️)
