Chapter 17 "kodak"

Alec's POV

(there's nothing to live for I bring my self up as we lay in the pit of a old dirty ditch, "there's something out there" Emma says with her hand on her stomach and her eyes bulging or if her eyes. Back story on why were in a dirty ditch. Ace decided to light a match in the car and dropped it on the gallon of fuel that we had. My point of few and face was not very happy. We all left the car and didn't think twice about us going hungry, no food, no clothes, no water. NOTHING. I pretended like it's okay when unfortunately it's not!
I didn't mean to be mad at the fact that we're stuck alone in a very dirty ditch and we're fleeing from who knows what, but it's happening. To think I'd ever maybe once have a slightly good day with nothing in common of BAD IDEAS, it was just the less amount.
We all didn't want to be in the ditch in fact what I wanted is this for all to be a dream. I couldn't count how many times Ace said sorry, He at least said it 50 times.
There are 5 of us and 1 dog. Your telling me I'm the leader of this messy pack? I must get this straight, we need help. )

Alec- what are we gonna do?
Emma- you can't ask me that.
Alec- well I did.
Narix- we could go on another supply run..?
Alec- no, we wouldn't back it back here alive. How many guns do we have Emma?
Emma- four, and I have six boxes of bullets. It's enough for a week. Maybe longer?

Alec- its enough. will stay here for tonight. i dont want anyone to leave this ditch til we have something to plan. everyone needs to stay clear, its getting dark and we all need to be quiet.

Emma- ill keep watch.

alec- nice try princess, im keeping watch.

Narix- ugh, im going to bed.

(I watch Narix lay down in the soggy ditch with Ace. i didnt argue with Emma i just sat there and looked at the stars. as what Emma liked to call them Souls. I smiled every time i looked at them. River slept on the other side of me i wasnt having someone i didnt trust by my wife. i completely underestimated him of course, he was odd.

emma layed beside me as i pulled her head on my shoulder. she felt warm, and quite sad. was she sad about River? i kiss her forehead and we both fall asleep holding each other close)

11 MONTHS AGO

Alec- KOdak!!

Kodak- uh oh-

Alec- Give ME MY PHONE!!

Kodak- MOM!!!

Miss Collens- Boys, stop fighting your sister is trying to sleep.

Alec- he wont give me my shit!

Kodak- i have honestly no clue what your talking about !?!?!

Alec- i hate you!! i wish you would just leave, why are you even here!

Kodak- i hate you too bud.

Miss COllens- Alec! your late for work, and Kodak i want you to take Alec to school. no buts get going.

alec- MOM!!

Miss Collens- i said no buts, go.

(now you must be thinking who the hell is kodak, well this is my current dream. mostly just a repeat on how everything started. id like to say thats my brother, Kodak. and my mom Jena Collens. shes um a good mom, i guess. i wouldnt say she doesn everything, she is just a fucked up drunk who sits on her ass and doesnt absolutely nothing. we pay the bills, we clean the house, and everything else. oh and one more thing my baby Sister Rianna, shes a pain. shes not even our sibling, i tend to make her pissed. but lets just say we found her on the street when i was 10. 14 years later and shes 14 with a problem that we cant fix. she has a problem with depression. aka dying in side and talking to people she doesnt know.

Now my brother is driving me in the car and were both kinda pissed becuase we cant find my phone. yes its phone but its also OUR phone.long story short Kodak broke his and my mom said wee had to share the phone that i had. so thats kinda a bust. but anyway my point of view is looking at my hands and thinking wow my brother is a piece of shit. and to that when i saw Kodaks hands go off the wheel i panicked. )

Alec- KOdak!

(his eyes rolled back and he passed out as i grabbed the wheel and turned it. we swerved right and left as I grabbed the well and lost control. )
Alec- let go Kodak!! Your gonna get us killed, what's wrong with you!
(His eyes turned to straight cold black as if someone drained the life out of him. I pull the wheel to the left and and hear the car tires give out. What I thought was just enough to breath it was until the car flipped and my brother flew back as I hit my head on the dash board. I heard screaming of hundreds of innocent people going to the ground by the looks of other people. My eyes gave into a fade and my eyes slowly shut.)

REALITY NOW (Alec's POV)

(I opened my eyes to see the faded dots of the sun in the sky. I heard Muffles of Narix and Emma talking. )
Narix- do you think we can make it out here Emma?
Emma- I know we can.
Narix- what if someone doesn't make it, what if it's you or Alec.
Emma- you can surely make it with out us. Besides that Alec and I were strong together nothing to be afraid of.

(The muffles got louder as my ears began to listen in. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes looking down. )
Emma- Good, your awake.
Alec- yes I'm awake, what do you need.
Emma- we should move, Ace and Narix are hungry we all are. We need to find found for us or we all go hungry.
(As I stand up and brush my pants, I look at Emma. Her eyes glistening in the bright sun was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I couldn't imagine my world with out her. )
Alec- We should go now, we have no
Time to talk.
Emma- I'll tell Narix and River. also whos Kodak..?

Alec- hes my uh..brother..

Emma- brother??

Alec- before this all happened before the rising of the creatures my brother was taking me to work and he was driving down the highway, i guess when he was driving he say something and kinda went out of it. but it wasnt just him it was everyone. his eyes turned white and then black, kinda like he was getting drained out of his life. he let go of the car wheel and the car started to go out of control. i grabbed the wheel and the car flipped on the highway.. but theres something about this. i was dreaming about this emma..

Emma- why didnt you tell me about this? i couldve helped you find him.

Alec- hes probably dead.

Emma- dont think like that, alright? ill help you find him.

(she kisses my head and Narix runs up to us giving us a big smile)

narix- WE FOUND A CAR!!

Emma- really!

alec- well then lets going. we need to finish our mission dont we?

(i look at Emma and grab her hand she smiles back at me and we get out of the road. River pulls up in a big black truck filled with boxes. i run to the back of the truck and jump onto the side looking at the boxes filled with cans and blankets etc. )

Emma- see we shouldnt give up now we might be pretty lucky.

so i currently have been really busy with school for 1 week and im sorry for not posting i believe im going to post 2 chapters today not sure. tomorrow i dont know yet, i hope you all enjoy this chapter. i think things are gonna get interesting.
