its common knowledge that
winter is the worst time for flowers.
for the cold
causes petals to wilt and fall
causes stems to freeze through
causes a decrease in necessities
causes death.
but in my opinion,
the worst time for flowers
is the fall
because suddenly they're compared to the changing leaves
because suddenly they're forgotten because suddenly they're
not good enough
not pretty enough
not strong enough
and everyone makes sure they know it.
