Kito Makes His Entry Into The World

Quick Author's Note this my second try at this chapter i had got it done once it was just saving and was about to publish this chapter before until my wattpad app froze and crashed causing me to lose all my progress so with that out of the way let's dive back into the story shall we
Kiara's P.O.V. I am due to go into labor in a matter of days since female lioness's carry cubs for about three months equal to 110 days to 15.71 weeks about a two weeks ago i found out that Kovu and I are going to have a baby male lion and after much discussion about boy names Kovu and I turned to Kayla to help break the deadlock on the name front and Kayla said how about we name my little brother Kito and after Kovu and I discussed the name Kito and we both agreed that the name fitted perfectly so we told Kayla that we would name her little brother Kito after we had finished telling Kayla the three of us went on a family outting for the remainder of the day. The next day i woke up early the next morning since my little boy kept kicking me during the night when all the sudden i felt extreme pain from stomach and i also felt my water break i then said Kovu wake up the baby's coming he immediately woke up and said you aren't supposed to give birth for a few more days are you sure Kito is coming out and i then said if he wasn't then my water wouldn't have broken i then used my right rear paw to nudge Kayla awake once she started to stir from her slumber i said Kayla honey i need you to get your nana and the other female lioness's because the baby's coming and i'm going to need some coaching and support through the birthing process and then Kayla got up and said i'll be right back mommy and then she ran out of the royal den to go get my mom Nala and the other female lioness's since i didn't want to be alone while giving birth after a few minutes Kayla arrived back in the royal den with my mom and the other lioness's that were around the first one to get to my side was mom who said so Kayla has told us that our future ruler is making his grand enterance into the world i said well future co-ruler since Kayla's the first child and a qit queen in training even if she's not my biological child i perfer to think of her as one i then said Mom would it be a good idea to let Kovu stay in the cave while i'm in labor and mom replied no she then calmly and nicely walked over to him and escorted him out of the cave and put our pride's best guards outside the cave with orders to bar any entry to the cave while i'm in labor once the guards were in place mom walked back over to me along with my best friend Kylie and once the two of them arrived at my side mom said okay Kiara Kylie and myself will coach you through the birthing process i then said thanks mom and mom then said okay let's get started shall we and thus began the long and painful birthing process two hours later after many times of contractions and pushing i was dead tired i was near my breaking point i then looked at my mom and said Mom i don't think i can continue to pushing Kito anymore and mom said nonsense you are doing just fine honey how about you give me another push then you can take a break after i pushed once more Kylie said from where she was near my underbelly the head is crowning then my mom said okay thank you for this important information Kylie mom then looked back at me and said Kiara you are almost there just push one more time and then you will be able to hold your baby boy i then nodded and pushed with all my remaining strength after a few moments the cave was filled with the sound of a baby's cry one of the lioness's that had medical training from Rafiki gently picked Kito off my chest and carried him a short distance away to clean him off once he was cleaned the lioness's walked back towards me and said Congradulation Kiara it's a baby boy and might i say he's mighty dashing even for a newborn cub i then said Thank You Lyra to which she said you're most welcome your highness and then she walked away i then said Hi Kito i'm your mommy and this your family i then passed him to my mom who then passed Kito around the room and everyone promised him something special and then after his cool cat Aunt Fuli was finished speaking to him she brought him over to Kayla whose little speech really touched my heart by saying Hi Kito i'm your big sister Kayla i will always be here from you for example if someone is picking on you come find me and i will put them in their place because no-one will mess with you as long as i'm around another example if you have any questions at all come find me i might not have every single anwser for you but i will give you the best advice that a big sister can give a little brother because as a big sister i'll always have your back because siblings stick together forever i love you little bro once Kayla had finished speaking she gave Kito back to me and said jokingly i guess you can say mommy that the circle of life has come full circle to which i lightly chuckled it sure has baby girl it sure has
