Two Years Later
Kiara's P.O.V. it's pretty hard to believe that it's been two years since i found Kayla and took her in as my own she is slowly growing up in to young lady Kayla is now three years old but she will always be my little baby girl currently i'm at the very important annual meeting with the regional pride king and queens after listening to the other king and queens speak for three hours i was about to speak when Kayla came bursting into the meeting cave causing quite a ruckus screaming her head off who quickly hid behind me saying save me mommy shortly followed by Shenzi who spoke i'm sorry Kiara i hate to disturb your meeting but have you seen Kayla i then said she's right behind me Kayla then said mommy your no fun i then said well Kayla it's part of my job as your mommy. Shenzi then walked up to Kayla and said come on little pup to go i then said Shenzi mind if i have a word with my daughter to which she responded not at all your grace i then walked over to Kayla and whispered into her ear we're going to have a serious talk when i get home later to which she just gulped i then said Shenzi you are more then welcome to take Kayla back to the royal den to which she said no problem your grace and with that Shenzi escorted Kayla out of the meeting cave i then said to the gathered king and queens i'm extremely sorry for the interruption your highness's to which the king of the western lion pride Mansa spoke up saying no problem Queen Kiara and i must say your little girl is getting big i remember when she was just a little baby i then said thank you Mansa for your compliment now back to the issues at hand Mansa.
                             Back at the Royal Cave
Kayla's point of view after arriving back at the royal den i spoke Aunt Shenzi did my mommy look quite mad and she replied back she sure did but i can't really blame her because she did tell you not to disturb her especially today because as you may have forgot is the annual regional royal king and queens assembly so i suggest that you get ready for the storm that is going to happen when she arrives back here from the meeting as if on cue mom walked into the royal cave and boy did she look mad she then walked up to me quite fast and before i knew she was standing over me mom then said Shenzi would you mind leaving my daughter and i have to talk i then looked at Aunt Shenzi silently pleading for help but all she said was sorry pup but your on your own and with that she walked out of the cave but not before giving me a very sad expression and then she was gone i then looked back at mommy and before I could speak she started scolding me which I rightfully deserved considering that I crashed her important reginonal assembly. Kiara's p.o.v. As soon as i arrived back at the royal cave i dismissed Shenzi and she walked out of the cave leaving just me and my baby girl i knew that Kayla would try to apologize but i spoke first saying Kayla i love you and all but what you did wasn't very queen like i mean disturbing an very important meeting runing around the meeting cave and screaming your head off like a mad woman i mean i specifically told you that unless your hurt or bleeding you are not to interfere with the meeting did i and she replied yes you did mommy and i replied very sternly and what did you do and she replied i disrupted your meeting mommy she then said what is my punishment going to be mommy and i replied well you won't be going with your Aunt's and Cousins on the big hunt tommorow to which Kayla said you can't do that because that's not fair what gives you the power to do that and then i spoke i can do that for three reasons one i'm your mommy two there are a lot of things in life that aren't fair and three what gives me the power to do that is because i'm the queen of Pride-Rock and your legal guardian i was suprised that Kayla didn't argue with me but she only said i understand mommy and i'm sorry mommy Kayla then asked me a question that suprised me for a girl of her age hey Mommy where did i come from to which i replied well honey i don't know what your first year alive was like but what i do know for sure is that i found you in a bush down in the savannah and as soon as i found you i instanly fell in love with you baby when i laid eyes on you for the very first time i instantly felt that you need someone to raise you love you and protect you from harm and danger so i decided then and there that i would take you in and raise you as if you were my biological child and i don't have any regrets for taking you in because i will always love you Kayla and she replied back i love you too mommy and i'm glad that you and you alone will always be my mommy.
