Chapter 1

Jade's POV

A serpent, a outlaw, a bully, a bitch, a terrifying teenager. Just a few things I have been called. There are many others that I have been called ever since I joined the Serpents at just 14. Why did I join? Thats my business so dont ask again. Stupid journal.

"Jade! You better be awake." My dad says.

"I am." I say.

I placed my journal away and walked out of my room. The trailer we live in is small. It had three small rooms that used to have five people, but Im not going down that road again.

"Are you sure you want to continue going to Southside High. You can go to Riverdale High like Jug?" My dad asks.

"We've been over this I want to be on the Southside. Besides why would I want to go to school with Jug?" I question.

"Well for starters he is your twin brother." He says.

"He also left like we didnt matter. Im still mad at him for that." I say.

"Well if you ever change your mind. It wont be a problem." He says.

"Dad if I ever change my mind I've clearly gone insane. Now I have to go." I say.

"Okay, but be careful on that bike." He says.

"I will." I say.

I climbed onto my motorcycle and all I could think about on my way to school was my family and why I joined the serpents at such a young age. Stop it Jade for get the past. Nothing happened at school so after school I went to Pop's and saw a face I didnt want to see.

"Still mad huh?" Jughead asks.

"Still living at the DriveIn?" I question not even looking at him.

"Yes and by the fact that you wont look at me lets me know your still mad." He says.

"Im not getting into this with you. Long story short you bail on us. You turned your back on family." I say.

"Of course thats how you see it." He says.

"It is how I see it. By the way he has gotten better. The drinking is now hardly anything. I may be mad at you, but you know dad will always let you come home." I say.

I grabbed my order and as I turned to leave I ran into someone.

"Sorry." The person says.

"You should be. Im not invisible." I say looking up at the person.

"I said I was sorry. Geez Jade." The person says.

"Dont bother Archie. You know Jade. She has a bad attitude and a bad temper." Jughead says.

"Whatever. Late Red. Oh and Fuck you Jughead." I say and walked out.

I went back to the trailer and it was lonely. No one is here and no ones hardly ever here. My dad is out and no one else lives here. Im alone... Always alone and no one cares.

Jughead's POV

Archie had heard Jade talking about the DriveIn and he offered me a place to stay and I accepted. His father Fred Andrews doesnt have a problem with it either.

"Stay as long as you need Jug." Mr.Andrews says.

"Thanks Mr.A." I say as he left.

Archie and I were silent for a moment and then he finally spoke.

"Jade isnt bad you know. I think she's just hurting." Archie says.

"Well Im not sure about that. Jade doesnt have empathy. Like at all. She doesnt care about peoples feelings. She like to hurt people and have you ever been around her when she has a plan or an idea? She doesnt think anything through and is always on the verge of getting hurt." I say.

"What do you mean hurt?" He asks.

"The Serpents have these enemies. The Ghoulies and believe me Jade is number one on their list. She's a ticking time bomb. She may be my twin sister, but she has no self control." I say.

"Maybe she just needs help or a friend." He says.

"Archie, Jade wont let people help and she has serpent friends who Im sure fear her. Lets not talk about her anymore." I say.

I lied there on the ground just think about my dad and my sister. Jade said my dad was better now and maybe he is, but Jade and I have never seen eye to eye and all we ever did was fight. I have an evil twin and thats all Jade is. Everyone sees it and there is nothing more to Jade then that and Archie is crazy for thinking otherwise.

A/N: Well what do you think? Let me know. I know Jug and Jade have issues and maybe that will change later on in the book. You'll just have to wait and find out. Also I want to put this out there that Bughead will show up in the story at some point. As well Veggie and Choni. So if you dont like those ships Im sorry, but they will be apart of my book.
