Jade's POV
I was in Southside High when Jughead came rushing in and pulled me out of the school. He looked worried and he should be for grabbing me.
"WHAT THE HELL JUGHEAD!" I yell at him.
"J listen its dad." Jughead says calmly.
"What do you mean its dad?" I ask.
"Kevin Keller just told me that our father was arrested for possession of Jingle Jangle. Apparently there was a ton of it." He says.
"What? Serpents dont deal Jingle Jangle. Uhhh... Ghoulies. I swear that want me to kill them." I say walking away.
"Jade wait. Sheriff Keller wants to talk to us." He says.
I rolled my eyes and even though I didnt want to I went with Jughead to the sheriff station.
"Lets cut to the chase Keller. Our dad is innocent and now you can let him out." I say.
"Thats not how this works and you arent the boss here." Keller says.
"My father is wrongfully accused! He was framed! By the Ghoulies." I say loudly.
"Jade stop." Jughead says.
"Young lady calm down."Keller says.
"Ugh! I want to see him! Please." I say.
"He is being processed and then you can see him later. Now I want to talk about what will happen to you two until this is sorted." Keller says.
"Why does it matter?" I ask.
"Cause we are minors Jade." Jughead says.
"Look I have serpents who will help me and that fine with me." I say.
"Well the thing is you both have to go with a foster family on the Southside for now." Keller says.
"Wait does that mean I have to change school?" Jughead questions.
"Yes it does." Keller says.
We then had to wait alittle before going to see our dad and seeing him where the Ghoulies belonged pissed me off.
"Jade can you give Jug and I a moment?" My dad asks.
"But..." I say.
"Jade, please." He says.
"Fine." I say.
Jughead's POV
Jade stomped off and it was just dad and I. I didnt know what to think about what was happening.
"Jug Im sorry. You came home and then this happened." My Dad says.
"Jade said it was the Ghoulies." I say.
"Yes, but we need to talk about Jade." He says.
"What about her?" I ask.
"I need you to take care of her. Keep an eye on her and make sure she doesnt go overboard. You have to stand by her. This could make Your sister go down a dark path and we dont want that. Promise me you will keep her out of trouble." He says.
"I promise. How long before you could get free?" I ask.
"Not sure which is why I need you to keep Jade under control." He says.
"I will. I'll go get Jade." I say.
I walked out for a second and I didnt see Jade. God damn it.
Phone Call
Jughead: Hey Archie. Whats up?
Archie: I saw Jade and she seemed pissed off. So I might have followed her and now she is shooting arrows at targets in the woods.
Jughead: Just keep an eye on her make sure she doesnt move. Oh and if she catches you... Its been nice knowing.
End Phone Call.
I really dont know how to help Jade, but I made a promise and unlike my parents I will keep a promise.
