Jade's POV
Its been a week and I have been trying to push everyone away, but some people were not having it. I dont want to feel anything because of what Penny had said and I dont want to lose anyone. I tried to ignore Jughead as I walked out of the trailer. Though he quickly caught up to me.
"J whats going on with you?" Jughead asks.
"Nothing. Just heading to school." I say.
"Are you sure? You've been off lately." He says.
I ignored him and got onto my bike and went to school. I knew Jughead was close behind me making sure I dont run away. Once I got to school I got off my bike and Jughead stopped me before I could go inside.
"Jug Im fine." I say.
"Are you sure? Cause you seem off." He says.
"Just drop it." I say and walked inside.
I walked to my locker just to get away from Jughead. I opened my locker and just stared into it lost in thought about what Penny said about coming after everyone.
"Hey Jade." Archie says.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Well I actually wanted to talk to you about... Well... The cabin thing." He says.
"Well I dont want to talk about that. Actually I would like it if we could forget about it." I say.
"Well maybe I dont want to forget about it or about us. I was actually thinking we could maybe.. You know go out some time." He says.
"Im good. I gotta go." I say.
I shut my locker and walked away from him. A part of me wanted to be with him, but I cant cause I dont want to lose him.
"Hey Jade. Can we talk?" Fangs asks.
"Sure whats up?" I question.
"I wanted to ask you to Pop's after school. As a way of saying thank you for making sure I was kicked out of the Serpents. So meet me at outside after school?" He asks.
"Sure. I'll see you then." I say.
After school I went to drop off my stuff at my locker when Archie came over. God I hate that our lockers are in the same area.
"Okay. Im sorry for earlier. I just thought maybe...You know what never mind." Archie says.
"Archie, listen. I think its for the best okay. Im not mad at Jughead anymore and I cant do that to him." I say.
"So if Jughead was okay with it maybe we could try something?" He asks.
"Arch, I dont know. Look I gotta go anyway. Fangs is waiting for me." I say.
I walked away from him and we to Fangs who was waiting outside for me. Since he came to school in SweetPea's truck so we decided that he would drive my motorcycle and I would go on the back. Though I saw Archie as we left and he looked very upset and hurt. Maybe I do want to be with Archie, but I cant be. I just cant.
