Jade's POV
What I didnt tell Jughead was that I called our mom and told her what happened. She even has someone who will help get Archie some place safe. We had to leave everything behind so no one will track us.
"Okay boys come one." I say.
"Jade, we need to rest." Archie says.
"Yeah and where are we going?" Jughead asks.
"We dont want the Ghoulies to catch up to Archie. Oh and Jug we might be headed to see mom." I say.
"You called her? God Jade." He says.
"She knows people up north that can get Archie some place safe." I say.
"So you when were you gonna tell us this?" He asks.
"Well I was thinking about it, but you wernt suppose to be here." I say.
"Jade you just dont keep this kind of stuff. I should of known we are headed to mom's." He says.
"Just shut up Jughead. Dont be such an ass over something stupid." I say.
"Will you two just stop it! We are trying to not cause attention to us." Archie says.
Jug and I just glared at one another and then we looked over at Archie who was right about staying discreet. We continued on our way and I could of sworn I heard someone following us.
"Wait stop." I say hitting both Jughead and Archie in their chests.
"Ow Jade. What the hell." Jughead says.
"Shhh dont talk." I say and looked behind us.
"Jade whats wrong?" Archie asks.
"I could of sworn I heard something." I say.
I opened my bag and brought out my bow and arrows. I aimed and moved slowly side to side to where I had heard the noises.
"Okay. Jade no ones following us." Jughead says.
"Well I think so. Im keeping my bow and arrows out." I say.
I had my arrows in their pouch on my bad and had my bow at my side. I know Jug doesnt think someone there, but you never know. We then finally made it to our mom's junk yard.
"Hey you guys lost or here for some something?" A guy asks.
"We're looking for Gladys Jones. She and I are family." Jughead says and showed his Serpent tattoo to the guy.
"Jughead? Jade?" A young voice says.
"Jellybean?" Jug questions.
"You heard him. Open the damn gate." Jellybean says.
The guy opened the gate and Jug went right over to her and hugged her. I moved over to them and Jellybean let go of Jughead and she hugged me.
"Okay. So is mom here or?" I question.
"Yeah I'll take you guys to her." She says and let go of me.
Archie's POV
We followed Jellybean to this garage and there was Gladys Jones someone who I havent seen in years.
"Jughead and Jade. My twins Im glad your both here." Gladys says and hugs both Jughead and Jade.
"Its good to see you too mom." Jughead says.
"And look at you. Archie Andrews. Its good to see you." Gladys says and hugged me.
"Yeah its nice to see you too and I wanted to thank you in advance for helping me out." I say.
"Of course. Also is there like something going on with you two? Cause Jade you said you were coming with Archie and then explained why and Im just wondering are you two like a thing?" Gladys asks.
"God no." Jade says.
"Ouch Jade. Jade was one of the people who learned what happened first and she wanted to help. I had to tagged along because you know how Jade can be." Jughead says.
"Okay. We'll talk about what will happen next, but right now let me get you guys fed." Gladys says.
There was so sort of barbecue thing happening and as I was getting food I heard some yelling and we I went to check it out Jade angrily pushed me out of the way and walked away.
"What was that about?" I ask.
"Jade being Jade. She is still alittle mad that I left." Gladys says.
"We both are, but at least Im being more civil." Jughead says.
I sat down as Jug talked to his mom and they were mostly discussing the Serpents and Jade.
"Are you like single?" Jellybean asks me.
"Umm..." I say.
"Really Jellybean?" Jughead questions.
"Its JB now. So are you with anyone?" Jellybean asks again.
"Not after a bad break up." I say.
"Jellybean chill. He may be single, but he is clearly starting to like our sister." Jughead says.
"I knew it." Gladys says.
"Okay I need to use the bathroom." I say.
I got up and went to the bathroom and as I was walking back someone attacked me.
"Of course they brought you here." Penny Peabody says.
I struggled to get free when I felt her knife at my neck. I thought I was a goner, but then Penny screamed in pain and the knife fell. I looked back and saw Jade. Then I saw Penny on the ground.
"You okay?" She asks.
"Yeah. Is she?" I ask.
"Dead? No. Its a tranquilizing dart. I always have them and my arrows. Oh your bleeding alittle." Jade says.
She came over to me and ripped a piece of my shirt and held it to my neck stopping the blood. I looked into her eyes as she was helping me and I just wanted to kiss her. Maybe I might like her and thats a bad thing. Isnt it?
