Chapter 33

Archie's POV

I woke up in the morning and found that Jade had left. Though she did leave me a note saying that she had to go before her family wakes up. Jade and I have been together now for about two and a half months and we couldnt be happier. I got ready for school and left on my way. I was at my locker when Jughead walked over to me and punched me in the face.

"What the hell Jug?" I question.

"Stay away the hell away from my sister!" Jughead says.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"Betty told me Jade was leaving your house early this morning. I then saw her covering up hickeys on her neck. So stay the fuck away from her." Jughead says and walked away.

I closed my locker and I felt someone tap on my shoulder. When I turned around Jade looked pretty upset.

"I see Jug got to you." Jade says.

"Yep." I say.

She gently reached up cupped my cheek in her hand and ran her thumb gently over where Jughead punched me.

"Dont worry Arch. I'll kill Jughead later." She says.

She just kept her rubbing her thumb on my bruising cheek and she was just being the sweetest person. I noticed people were just looking at us and yet all I cared about was my sweet Jade. All the rest of the day people were talking about Jade and I, mentioning Jughead had punched me and all kinds of things. I could tell Jughead was pissed off and kept Jade away from me. He was using either himself or other serpents to keep us apart. After school when I went over to my truck Jade was standing by it.

"Hey Im surprised that your actually alone right now and actually allowed to be with me." I say.

"Yeah not for long Fangs and SweetPea are coming over. I just wanted to see if you were okay. Just dont tell anyone Im nice at times." Jade says.

"Well your sweetness is safe with me. Also Im fine, I just hate that you cant be around me. I was hoping we could decide if we could officially just say that we are together." I say.

"Well..." She starts, but is cut off.

"Okay Andrews back up. Jade lets go." SweetPea says.

"No. You arent the boss of me and neither is Jughead. Are we forgetting that I dont take orders from other people." Jade says.

"Jade please we dont want a fight." Fangs says.

"Well I dont care. Archie can we just go to your house?" Jade asks.

"Yeah sure." I say.

"Jade no." Fangs says.

Fangs and SweetPea tried to stop Jade, but everyone knows you cant stop Jade once she has decided to do something she wont be stopped. We were in my truck and she just looked beyond angry and I just couldnt keep my eyes off her.

"You okay?" I ask.

"I dont want to talk about it. Also stop staring at me while your driving." Jade says.

I pulled over cause I could hear the sadness in her voice. I stopped the car undid my seatbelt going closer to her and hugged her. I undid her seatbelt as well and she rested her head my chest.

"Jug just wants to protect you he just wants you safe. He may be going about it the wrong way, because I would never hurt you." I say kissing the top of her head.

"Its not just Jughead. Its everything about what I am." She says.

"Jade what are you saying?" I ask.

"Arch, Im not a good person. I've done alot of shit and made a lot of enemies. I sometimes think I should just run away and never come back. I cause trouble and its all because I joined the Serpents." She says.

"Jade you are a good person. So what if you've done bad things in the past, but you shouldnt run away from it. You are a Serpent by blood and you protect everyone that matters to you. You may have an edge, but you can also be so wonderful and so sweet. Thats why I love you all of you. The bad girl, the sweet girl, and any other girl you can be. I love Jade Jones no matter what." I say.

She looked up at me and she looked alittle confused.

"You love me?" She questions.

"Yes. I didnt know how to say it before, but now I've said it and I'll say it again. I love you Jade." I say.

"Wow. I never thought anyone could love me, but then again you are different and...." She says but stops.

"And what?" I question.

"And... I love you too. I love you Archie Andrews." She says.

"And I love you Jade Jones." I say.

"Well then kiss me." She says.

I leaned done and kissed her. Yes we have kissed alot before, but kissing after saying you love one another made everything special. She loves and I love her and thats just wonderful.

One Month Later

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

I slowly opened my eyes to a room that had my mom though I didnt see my dad. I moved slightly and I was in pain so much pain I could hardly move.

"Ow." I say.

"Oh Archie thank god." My mom says with tears streaming down her face.

"Mom? Whats going on? What happened?" I ask.

"No time for that now." She says.

"Mom what happened? If Im here in the hospital and your here why isnt dad here? Also could I please see Jade?" I ask.

She didnt say anything she just started crying and left the room to get a doctor. A doctor came in and checked me before some of my friends came in.

"Archie your alive." Betty says.

"What happened? Why is my mom crying? Where's my dad? Jug where's Jade? Can someone please answer my questions?" I asked getting angry.

"Arch what was the last thing you remember?" Veronica asks.

"Simple. I was with Jade in my truck after a very crazy day when Jughead punched me." I say.

"Archie that was a month ago. You really dont remember what happened after that?" Jughead asks.

"No. Can you guys please tell me?" I ask.

They all looked at one another and the back at me. It was like they didnt want to tell me what happened. I dont remember things from a month ago. Ugh What in the world happened? Why wont anyone tell me? Ugh What happened?
