Chapter Seven: Rachel

It's been an hour since Naomi and I left home. I was chillin with Paige, Violet, Remi, Renee, Aliza and Sasha. Naomi was with AJ, Ian and Daniel, while Blade was with the other male vampires, and Rachel.

"The first time we met her, she felt like she was always number one." Violet spoke, referring to Rachel. "I remember the day when Remi was hitting on Blade, and she got mad." Sasha giggled while Remi hissed at her to make her be quiet. "You don't need to associate with her. To be honest, none of us like her." AJ whispered. They all nodded and agreed. "Don't let her take Blade away from you." Aliza told me. I smiled at them. For vampires, they were very sweet.

We then heard a growl approach us. We all looked and turned to see Rachel walking towards us. "You suckers talking blood?" she questioned. "Nah. We're just getting to know Juliette better." Remi lied. "Well, y'all bats gotta know that I'm the female leader of this pack."

Wait, she is? "You are?" I questioned. "Yeah, got a problem stupid, bat?" she answered. Paige and Aliza hissed at her. "Don't talk to her that way." Renee snapped. Blade, Ian, Naomi and the other vampires turned to look at us. "What's going on?" Blade asked, walking towards us.

"Rachel called her a bat." AJ answered. "Is this true?" he questioned. "Of course not! Why would I insult your girlfriend?" Rachel replied. We all shook our heads. "Nonsense!" Aliza yelled. "Rachel, don't ever do that again! Do you hear me!" Blade yelled, then he shifted into a vampire.

Note to self: Don't get Blade triggered.

Rachel nodded while Blade walked away to be with Ian and the other vampires. Rachel rolled her eyes and walked away. Naomi came walking up to me. "The bitch called you a bitch?" she asked. I nodded. She turned and saw Rachel strutting her way to a different room.

"I don't get why people hate me. What did I ever do to be hated?" Tears started to form in my eyes. Naomi pulled me into a hug while the other female vampires came closer to us. "We don't hate you." Naomi told me. "We love you till blood suckin death." Violet spoke. "Even though we basically just met."

Ian and Blade and the other vampires came up to us. "Why are you crying?" Blade asked softly, as I buried my head into Naomi's shoulder, which caused her to hug me tighter. By now, Blade turned back into a human. "She'll tell you later." Naomi mouthed.

I decided to head home a bit early, since I really wasn't feeling good about myself. Naomi decided to come back with me, since she doesn't want me to be alone. I insisted that I was okay, but she wouldn't leave my side. "I'll meet you at the tree." Naomi told me, after she kissed Ian goodbye and waved to Blade. I nodded.

"I'm sorry if I'm overreacting or something. I'm just-" Blade shushed me. "No need to explain. I know how Rachel is." He took my hands into his. "To be honest, I would probably kick Rachel out and replace her with you." I laughed at him. "I wouldn't mind but she probably would." He smiled at me, showing his beautiful white teeth.

I went up to the tree to meet Naomi after Ian and Blade left. "I just feel like no one likes me. I'm hated for no reason." I put my head down and stared at my lap, tears about to come out of my eyes. "Don't talk like that. Who cares what other people think? You are you, and you're amazing." Naomi reassured me. I picked my head up and stared at her.

"It hurts to feel hated and disliked. It makes you feel like you're the lowest piece of thing in this world. It hurts." I began to sob. I was very sensitive about these certain topics. It hurts when someone, or even yourself feels like they don't belong or feels like they are not wanted anywhere. People sometimes commit suicide because people dislike them so much, like bullying for instance. I couldn't handle the pain much longer.

"Let me tell you something." Naomi sat in front of me with her legs crossed. "You have other friends, and you have family that appreciate you and love you so much. So, what? A person doesn't like you, fuck em! You don't need people like that in your life and you don't need to worry about other people's opinion. You don't need those kinds of people in your life, just stay positive and don't let them get to you. In reality, you're the bigger person and the toughest person. Just be yourself."

I really feel like my best friend is a queen. All I could really do is cry my eyes out and wrap my arms around her. "I'd probably kill myself if it wasn't for you." I whispered to her, as more tears ran down my face.

-The Next Day-

I really didn't want to go back to the pack today. I really wasn't in the mood. I just wanted to curl up in bed and just not do anything. "Are you crazy?!" Naomi spoke, while she sat on the edge of my bed. "You can't just lay here all day. If it's about that Rachel bitch I swear-"

"No. It's not. I'm just not feeling great." I interrupted. "Juliette, don't lie to me. I've known you since we were in diapers." Naomi ruffled some of her hair. I nodded. Naomi sighed deeply. "Have you noticed that in the pack the vampires love you more than their leader? That's pretty good, since we're new to this type of thing." I honestly don't know why I'm feeling this way. I'm suddenly just losing self-confidence. "And besides, look at you! You have a body of a model and you have the looks of an angel. Who wouldn't want that?" Naomi smiled a bit.

"I'm not the only one who has those features." I answered with a laugh. "There you go! A smile. Now, we're gonna kick some ass and go over to the pack."

-45 Minutes Later-

Thanks to Naomi, I'm not giving a fuck about what a person thinks about me. I'm me, and that's it. "Hey Juliette!" I heard Sasha call. I jogged over to her and gave her a hug. "Where are the others?" I asked. "Over here!" I heard Aliza call. Naomi, Sasha and I went over to join them.

"Can I ask you guys something?" Naomi spoke. They all turned to look at her. "Are you guys fully vampires or are some of you partially vampires?"

"We're all fully vampires. Except for Renee, Paige and Remi." Sasha replied. Naomi nodded. We then heard a loud screech that scared the daylights out of me. All of them became alert and quickly ran over to Blade and Rachel. Naomi and I joined them.

"I just found out today that my brother has been kidnapped." Blade hissed, his vampire teeth shower. All of the vampire's eyes turned red, signaling that they were furious. "It's our duty that we get him back as soon as possible." Rachel ordered. "All female vampires, meet me in the room!" Paige and the other girls went into one of the rooms that looked like they were provided for training, while Blade led is group into another room.

Naomi and I were about to follow until we were stopped by Rachel. "I said all vampires, not humans." She rolled her black eyes and strutted her way into the room, slamming the door shut.

Naomi squinted her eyes and began to crack her knuckles. "Naomi, don't do it. Be the bigger person." I whispered to her. She shook her head and began pacing back and forth. "She needs to learn that she can't tell us what to do!"

"Well, she is the leader of the pack."

"I could fucking care less. The only reason she's treating us like this is because we're humans."

"Well, what should we do then? We can't just freaking yell at her and say that humans and vampires are equal. She'll defiantly blow her fangs out."

Naomi made straight eye contact with me. "How would you feel if, we can turn into vampires?"
