Chapter Eleven: Come Together

-The Next Day-

Naomi and I were sitting at the lunch tables, enjoying our food and talking about the Ian incident. "Why would Rachel's brother do something like that?" I questioned, shaking my head. Naomi shrugged. "Probably for revenge or some shit. Rachel herself seems like a backstabbing bitch." I nodded. "What would be our first move?"

"I don't know. We could find Austin's location. Since, by the looks of him, would keep Ian and the mother hostage." Naomi took another bite of her sandwich. I automatically saw Valentine sitting behind Naomi, looking like she was listening to our conversation even though her back was turned. I put my finger up to my lips, telling Naomi to not say anything else. "How would we assist you, Valentine?" I called out. She turned around so that I could see her face. "Nothing. Just chattin with my besties." She tilted her head to the side. "Bitch, don't even try. Turn yo ass around and mind your motherfuckin business." I snapped. "The more you talk the more I'll make your life a living hell. Be careful who you're dealing with." She flipped her hair and turned back around.

I shook my head. "Insane as always." I mumbled.

-After School-

Naomi and I went straight home, so we could meet in the tree. "Did you get your project grade yet?" I asked. Naomi nodded. "He takes forever to grade one assignment. It's whatever." I laughed slightly. My phone then vibrated, showing a message from Blade.

Blade❤️: Coming over now. Be ready
Juliette🤪: Okay

"Blade's coming over. Probably gonna take is to the warehouse." I told Naomi. We then climbed down the tree so that we were on the sidewalk. We saw a car pull up in front of my house. We walked over and were met with Blade, sitting in the driver's seat, with Gabe sitting in shotgun. Naomi and I both went into the car and we were off.

"Hey Naomi." I heard Gabe call. "Hi." Naomi replied, softly. Well, hi to you too Gabe. "Back off Gabe, she has a boyfriend." Blade piped up, while I snickered. "I was just being nice." Gabe defended. "Since when are you nice?" Blade questioned, which made Naomi and I laugh. I then decided to lean up behind Blade and give him a kiss on the neck. "Be careful, babygirl." He smirked. Gabe shook his head. "Get a room, you two."

"My point exactly when I questioned about you being nice." I smirked against Blade's neck and then sat back down. "You devil." Naomi whispered, which only caused me to smile.

-Warehouse-

"Boss! We caught one of the bats!" We saw 2 of the extra vampires holding a man down to the ground. Blade walked up to him and bent down to get a good luck at the person's face. The man had a scar on his face, he was tan, bald and had green eyes. Blade pointed to one of those steel chairs, signaling to the vampires to tie him up and prepare him to be interrogated. They roughly dragged him to the chair and handcuffed him. Blade, Naomi and I walked up to him.

Me, feeling upset, walked faster, pushed the guy's head up so that he would look at me and slapped him, hard in the face. "Who the fuck, kidnapped Ian and his mother?!" I yelled, while I then shifted into a vampire. Blade quickly ran over to me and put his arm around my stomach, gently pushing me back. He then took matters into his own hands.

"My mother, Keisha and my brother Ian has been kidnapped. We think that this person named Austin is behind it. So, I'm gonna ask you, who kidnapped my family?" Blade questioned him, sternly. The man smirked. "I like her. She's beautiful and feisty. That's how I love em." This infuriated Blade, while he then automatically punched the guy in the face, then he shifted. "I'M NOT GONNA FUCKING ASK AGAIN! WHO KIDNAPPED THEM?!" I screamed, while he made the whole entire warehouse shake. "I'm not telling you shit." the man spat out.
