Chapter Seventeen: Trouble

*Juliette's POV*

"I w-was getting some fresh air." I lied. Mother shook her head at me, grabbed my wrist and dragged me downstairs to where Rose and Jayda were. Jayda's eyes widened at me, signaling that I was gonna get it. "You were supposed to be spending time with your cousin and you just ditched her!" mom yelled. I sighed deeply. "I need to clear the air here." Jayda turned her head towards me.

"Do you have any idea what Rose has done to me?! And Jayda?" I questioned mom. "Juliette-" I shook my head at her. "No! Let me talk!" I couldn't help but snap at her. Every single time I tried to explain something I would always get interrupted, and I'm tired of it! I started to tell mom the whole entire story of what happened between Rose and I, and Jayda. "That's what you need to understand! That's why I can't stand her!"

I saw Rose's face expression. She did look hurt, and guilty. "Look, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but that's just me being honest." Jayda sighed deeply. "I think we all need a break."

*Naomi's POV*

All of us rushed to New Jersey, I didn't even have time to text Juliette. Blade started speeding and stepping on the gas petal really hard. "Jesus! Slow down!" Paige yelled over the commotion. Blade shook his head. "We've been going back and forth way too many times! I'm tired of that shit." He stepped on the petal and raced on the highway.

We finally made it to Felix's house, Blade then shifted into a vampire and knocked the door down automatically with one punch. All of us ran to the basement and we saw Anthony, Austin, Valentine and a bunch of others jumping up from their seats.

We all started attacking.

Blade started to tear both Anthony and Austin up badly. Then, I saw someone familiar, that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. "Don't try anything, Naomi." Valentine hissed while she had a pocketknife in her hand. I quickly shifted into a vampire and fought her, with my bare hands.

*Juliette's POV*

I sat on the couch silently, while Jayda was on her phone and Rose was sitting with mom at the dining room table. "This is ridiculous! I'm just gonna do it." Rose broke the silence and walked over to me. "I'm sorry that I did those things to you. I was just jealous, I guess." I tilted my head to the side. "Why were you jealous if you basically have everything that you want? Was it because you wanted Dylan?" I questioned. She slightly nodded.

"I was really stupid. I didn't mean to hurt you or anything. I wanted everything for myself. It will never happen again, and I do deeply apologize. You're my cousin after all, and I love you."

Shocking. This girl has a heart.

I slightly smiled, got up from the couch and have Rose a hug. I saw Jayda smiling slightly from the corner of my eye, and mom wiping away a few tears. We both pulled back from the hug and got interrupted by glass shattering. This caused my mother to scream and run over to us. Our window was shattered...

We then saw something being thrown through the broken glass. "Duck!" I yelled. We all ducked until the smoke bomb blew up, fogging up the house. We all started coughing until everything went black.

*Blade's POV*

"Is that all of them?" I asked, while looking around. Naomi nodded. We then heard sirens from outside of the house. "You're welcome." Remi smiled.

Once we got out of the house Anthony, Austin, Felix and Jose came out in cuffs. I smiled. Knowing that this was finally over.

-Back Home-

"Thank you for the info. But they're gonna have to arrest you too." I said to Roman, while I had two cops beside me. He shrugged his shoulders. "I was gonna end up there anyway." I smirked and walked off while the cops cuffed him and brought him to the cop car. "All of you guys are amazing. I wouldn't have made it without y'all."

"Nah. It's nothing. We're always here." Ty said while he patted me on the shoulder. "Let us know. We're always here." Stefan said. I smiled and gave him a hug. "Now, it's the time to see my beautiful girlfriend." I smirked. "Coming with!" Naomi called after me.

The both of us stopped in front of Juliette's home, and the sight shocked us. The window was shattered and the door looked like it's been busted down. I quickly ran inside the house with Naomi following behind, looking at the scene inside.

"Juliette..."
