The Mastermind returned to the Hoenn Team Empire building after finishing his job. He called Nerdy. 'Nerdy, you and some other people will do your research on The Regi Trio which consists of Registeel, Regirock and Regice and catch them...' he said 'Meanwhile, I will go to catch Latios and Latias by myself, along with maybe two or three members...' Nerdy smiled. 'Should be easy because we hired lots of new members after coming to this region!' he said happily 'Most of the new recruits were former Team Magma and Aqua members... They said that they joined this team because they were getting annoyed of the rivalry between those two teams...' 'Nice, but I don't need explanation...' Ash said 'Now send me two members.... I am heading out again...' Ash turned away and started walking. Nerdy quickly sent two random members with Ash. They walked out of the building. 'Wait, let's get to the Helipad and get the helicopter, then it will be easier to go!' one member said. 'No, I don't want that... Now don't dare to ask me why...' The three of them walked for a long time until they reached a forest. 'Latias... I have come...' Ash said. Suddenly he gave a big smile as Latias came towards him. It was the same Latias that he had saved when he was travelling with Misty and Brock in Kanto... Ash hugged Latias... 'Oh, I have missed you so much...' Ash happily said 'I regret not catching you, even if you wanted me to... But now I am here, to fulfill my job... My destiny...' He cuddled Latias even more. The two members were shocked. They had never seen Ash being so soft. Latias happily smiled. She agreed to be Ash's pokemon too. Ash took out his Master Ball. Latias suddenly narrowed her eyes. 'Oh, don't be nervous, I am not going on some legendary pokemon catching spree since as you know, I don't care for power!' Ash said as he noticed Latias suspecting something 'I am only catching you with a Master Ball since I want to give you the luxury of a Master Ball!' 'But leader, you have been going on a spr-' a member tried to say but The Mastermind quickly closed his mouth. 'One more word and you will find your tongue missing from tomorrow...' He hissed, whispering... The member understood. Ash turned to Latias with a smile. He touched the ball on Latias' head and caught her. Then he took her out. 'NOW... Tell me the location of your brother...' he ordered. Latias happily took Ash to Latios. He was eating some apples. He turned just to see Latias and Ash. Latios narrowed his eyes. Something was wrong... 'Now then, fight your brother...' Ash said with a scary grin. That shocked both Latias and Latios. 'YOU ARE MY POKEMON NOW, SO FOLLOW MY ORDERS!' Latias widened her eyes. Latios was shocked that her sister had become a pokemon that had been caught by a trainer! Latias was no longer a free pokemon! She was now... a pokemon to THE MASTERMIND!
