I checked my list again. Looks like I have everything I need for the trip. We will be gone for 2 weeks, but we might extend to 3, depending if the boys want to spend more time in Hong Kong.

Hmmm - it's okay, I can buy more clothes if needed but I don't think I'll need anymore since it's summer there right now.

I called CS Min, and I was told that the car will be here soon. I arranged for it to pick up Jin and Tae from Hannam before coming here to avoid any media speculation. We're still trying to buy more time before it spilled - me and Jin together.

I closed my suitcase, and called the lobby for assistance. I opened the TV, and was shocked to find out that Min Ho will be discharged today from the military.

April — not May? I thought. Maybe that's why Tae was so adamant in me joining them. Does Jin know?

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Jin and Tae outside. I opened the door and saw them joking with each other. Jin was quick to notice that something was wrong so I immediately closed the TV.

Me: You two are so loud, you'll reveal my hiding place.

Jin: (kisses me on the cheek) You saw the news?

Tae: What news?

Me: Yes, about Min Ho. Is that why you want me to stay away from Seoul? Don't you trust me, Jin? Tae?

Tae: Noona. Mianhe. It was so sudden. I wasn't thinking properly.

Me: Wae? Because he's the only one who can break me?

Jin: (approaching) Jagi, it's not like that. I don't like it that I can't protect you. Tae is right. He will be here soon. He knows this place, and he can easily access it. What can I do if I'm far away?

Me: But I can't always join you. You guys have crazy schedules, I don't want to tag along. Not that I don't want to be with you — but I don't want to distract you. I want you to do what you want to do without me blocking your path.

Jin: Ani..why would you think of that? I want it. I want you to be with me always.

*Min Ho*
Omo, that boy is fast. Are they together now? But that's just two, three months?

Min Ho: Annyeong.

Jin Li turned around, hearing his voice, and suddenly all her strength left her. She held on to Jin, and pulled back Tae who was sizing up, preparing for Min Ho's next move.

Min Ho: Tae, you're all grown up. I'm not here to cause any scene. I just want to see your noona.

Tae: Wae? What's your business with her?

Min Ho: Come on Tae. We haven't settled anything after she left right.

Tae: You left her. She begged. Now, let her be. Gaja, noona, Jin Hyung. Yah (calling an attendant) why is your security so lax. This is the second time this happened to your owner.

Jin: Tae, stop making a scene. Jin Li, come with me.

Min Ho: Moving so fast, Jin?

Jin: Let's not do this right now. We have a plane to catch. And yes, she already moved on. She's not here because of you. You won't get to see her again because I will protect her from you. So don't bother coming back here.

Jin Li: Jin, jagi —

Min Ho: Jagi, jagiya? Yah, Jin Li. Do you have something to tell me? Come on, baby. (in a soft voice) Let's talk about us, why did you come back? (Moving closer to Jin Li)

Jin Li stammered, froze to her spot. Tae is right, he still has an effect on me. I'm drawn to him. Min Ho, my first love. She woke up from her daze with Jin's arm around her.

Tae: Yah, Min Ho!

Jin: Min Ho-ssi, please let's not do this. Tae, don't. Gaja.

Min Ho: (persistently speaking to Jin Li) Come on, baby. We know why you're back (softly speaking). We know why you're here. I missed you too. Come back to me.

Jin drew himself to his full height, and pressed his arm against Min Ho, shielding Jin Li.

Jin: I said enough.

*Jin Li*
I think I'm back because I know he'll be out soon. I think, I still love him.

The security guys arrived and pulled us out. They carried my bags, leaving Min Ho. We went inside my car and drove straight to the airport.

I was lost in thought. I don't know what's happening. I was confident really in the fact that I've moved on.

But why do I feel this way? I looked at Jin who was staring out the window. I looked at his hand, intertwined with mine. But all I feel is my long-lost love for Min Ho, which felt like it has always been there.

No, no. I can't be pulled in again. I need to get it out.

I rest my head on Jin's shoulders. He looked at me with those striking eyes - filled with love, and a tinge of fear. We stayed in quiet silence for the rest of the trip, even jolly Tae was lost in thought.

We met with the rest of the members, and immediately they understood what happened. I think they were kind of expecting it.

We were ushered to the business class. I asked for a glass of champagne, which Jin reluctantly agreed to. I want to get drunk as fast as I can for the short trip.

Before taking off, I feel the exhaustion winning over. Jin grabbed my hand, faced me, and kissed me so tenderly to the surprise of everyone on the plane with us.

Jin: Rest now, baby. Don't worry, I'm here.

And I dozed off. My hand still intertwined with his.
