Contrary to what the public expected, we got married in secret. A simple, no fuss celebration with our family and closest friends. We didn't even reveal the date, but we released our official wedding photos a week after, much to the dismay of the fans and haters. We only had around 80 guests. We all had a great time, and until now, remembering our wedding still brings me tears and joy.
Jin: (waking up) Jagi - good morning. What are you thinking about this early? Come back to bed with me.
Me: Still thinking about the wedding. Can't believe that we pulled it through.
Jin: (pouts) I wanted to do a big wedding - super big one, but you wouldn't let me.
Me: (laughs) Yah, it's not about it. I don't want to share you to the public and have all the girls fantasize about you being their groom.
I went back to bed, and cuddled with my husband. We are still staying at the hotel. I really love being here, while I want to find a new place soon, I don't think it's feasible because Jin is always away, and paranoid about my safety while he's gone.
Jin: Baby, I have to do some errands this morning. Can you join me?
Me: (surprised) Huh? Okay. Let's go.
We took a quick shower - and used his car. Jin doesn't want to take a driver with us. I took a quick nap, while Jin drives.

I've been planning this surprise right about the same moment I bought the engagement ring. I looked at different apartments, and even houses outside of Seoul. But after thinking about it, the most practical and reasonable decision is to stay within the city.I love staying at the hotel with her, but she needs a new space. We both need a new space, where we can comfortably lounge without worrying about people looking after us. I discussed this to both our parents and they agreed, and even went as far as helping us. I tried to say no, but one afternoon when I was doing a site inspection of the place - I was surprised to see our mothers talking to an interior decorator. A week after, the place was spruced up and furnished already. Sigh. Parents.
I kissed her forehead and gently woke her up. I handed her an envelope.
Me: Jagi, baby wake up. Let's go, and can you hold these files for me.
Jin Li: Okay. Where are we?
Me: Hanwha Galleria Foret. I'm meeting someone.
We went to the posh lobby. I can see her liking this place already. She's looking around inspecting the foyer.
We rode the elevator, got off the 24th floor and walked down the spacious hallway. The good thing about this place is that the units are so spacious, that you have the privacy you need.
I stopped at unit 2404.
Me: Jagi - open the envelope. (I said softly)
Jin Li: Huh? This is for your meeting right? (Opens the envelope, and saw a sheet of paper). Numbers? 8-4-4-8.
Me: (still speaking softly) Use it to open the door.
Jin Li gave me a confused look, but entered the password. I pushed the door open, and she gasped.
Jin Li: Wow, jagi - this unit is beautiful. (Went to the huge glass window) Who are you meeting with? I have to say this place is giving my penthouse hotel room a run for its money.
She continues to look over the skyline of Seoul. I looked over and saw Han River, Namsan Tower, and Seoul Forest.
Me: Welcome home, Mrs. Kim Seokjin.
She looked at me.
Me: Yes, this is our home. 💖
Jin Li: (gasps) Yah! Why did you not tell me? We don't have to spend - you don't have to spend money because the hotel is free, and it has everything.
Me: It has everything yes, including past memories that's why I bought you a new place. Close to both our work - and since I haven't gotten around to bringing you to touristy places - here they are, you can see them everyday.
The doorbell sounds, and I opened it to let the boys and our parents in. The boys all whistled, and ran across the place.
Tae: Daebak — hyung! This place is amazing! It's so huge - how many rooms? Aish! You first did a grand proposal, then this?
Jimin: Good thing, we can still compete for the grandest public wedding.
Me: Yah, if not for Jin Li, I would have given her a big wedding too (gives a smug look).
We all had fun catching up with each other. Our parents bought a lot of food which we all ate. They stayed a few hours before midnight.
Jin Li: Should we head back to the hotel, jagi?
Me: Why, baby? We can stay here.
Jin Li: I don't have my things.
Me: Baby, look inside our room. I have prepared everything we need. We can go back tomorrow or ask the hotel to send your things here.
We walked inside the master's room - it was her first time seeing this. Our guests understood the privacy and didn't pry in earlier.
The room was painted in a soft dove gray and white combination - simple and clean like how she likes it. Right in the middle is a big California King bed with a headboard. The furniture and accent pieces are in old rose and teal color scheme.
Me: You like it jagi?
Jin Li: I love it! How?
Me: Our ommas, they hired an interior designer, and on my next visit they have filled the place with stuff. I just told them to keep it in the color scheme that you like.
Jin Li: Thank you baby.
Me: Everything for you.
