The Morning After

*Shilla, The Morning After*
Jin: (whispering) Yah, Jimin stop that. Let me talk to Tae... stop...hand the phone to Tae. (listens). Mianhe, Tae. (stops)... what?

I looked around and saw myself staring at Jin, and blushed slightly reminiscing about what happened last night. I pulled the blanket over me, and continued watching him. He's not wearing anything except a pair of shorts, exposing his toned body.

Damn, this kid is really handsome. I'm in deep trouble.

Jin: Tae, mianhe. Aish. Stop laughing. I'll be home soon.

I chuckled, knowing how Tae is reacting on the other line. Jin glanced and saw me awake. I asked for the phone.

Me: Tae, where are you?

Tae: Good morning noona. And how are you (giggling).

Me: Shhh, don't give him a hard time. He's been very good to me, you know (softly).

Tae: I know noona. I know he will be good to you. I hope you'll find your happiness. But yah, why didn't he come home? (resumes giggling)

Me: Tae, you're hopeless. Or do you really want to hear it from me now? Because I can tell you that —-

Jin: Yah!

Tae: Noona! I'm just playing with you. No need to be so serious about it. Come over for breakfast? I mean if you two are done being lovey, dovey.

Me: (looking at Jin) I don't think we'll be done with being lovey, dovey soon. But we'll come over. See you.

I gave him back his phone. Jin quickly recovered from staring and pointed out that I'm not wearing anything. Teasing him, I motioned "so what" and I approached him, pressing myself to him, and felt him tense up.

Jin: Yah, what are you doing? Good morning, my love.

Me: Good morning, baby. Let's visit the boys?

Jin: There will be media —

Me: I'm Tae's cousin, surely we can buy more time before word comes out. Besides, everybody thinks I'm still hoping for Min Ho. What they don't know, or expect rather, is I'm with you.

Jin: No backing down?

Me: No backing down, baby. Gaja, they're waiting.

*At Hannam Hill*
Tae: Aigoo, our hyung didn't come home last night. (Gives a satisfied smile) I hope he made my noona very happy.

RM: What are you talking about?

Tae: I think they're together now. Her omma and appa told me that my noona is very happy now.

Suga, Jimin, Jungkook: What?! They're together?

Tae: Wae?

RM: But we're going on a tour soon, Tae.

Tae: (confused) I know. But does that mean they can't be together?

RM: I don't know, it's just not the right timing. Especially since Jin Li-ssi is still trying to move on, right?

Tae: She's stronger than she looks, and I don't think Jin Hyung will ever hurt her. But... (deep in thought)... it means that there's a chance for her and Min Ho to see each other when we leave! And, for some reason, she's really vulnerable around him. Well, they've been practically together forever.

The doorbell rang, JHope opened the door and revealed two very good looking people.

Jin Li: Annyeong. Tae! (rushing to her cousin)

JHope: Daebak. These two — why don't go with each other. That's really unfair. You look too good together.

All the boys laugh. While Tae remained silent.

Jin Li: Wae? Tae! What are you thinking about?

Tae: I'm thinking about bringing you to Hong Kong with us next week!

All the boys were surprised.

Jin Li: Boe? Hong Kong? I just settled here.

Tae: (mentioning for RM not to say anything) But you haven't been to Hong Kong for the longest time right?

Jin Li: (thinking) Well, yes. But why so sudden? And I don't want to get in your way.

Tae: Aniyo. It'll be fun, right RM Hyung?

RM: (snaps back) Yes, sure. We can go around the touristy sites while we're there — I mean, you and Jin. You know to celebrate what you want to celebrate.

Jin: Jinja? She can join us?

RM: Of course, let me know if you're comfortable with staying at Conrad. I can call and request for another room — unless you want to.. (stammers)

Jin Li: Aniyo, don't think of it too much. I can ask my secretary to do it. Well, I guess I'm going! Yah, Tae, where's the food? I'm hungry.

Tae and Jin Li left the sitting area and head straight to the dining area. Jin confronted RM.

Jin: What's that all about? I know you're happy for us, but I don't want to push this kind of lifestyle with her. She's barely back in Seoul.

RM: Aniyo, Tae found out that Min Ho will be discharged from the military right about the moment we will leave. And you know...

Jin didn't say anything, but understood what their leader meant to say. Jin Li's world will crash once again, and he won't be around to look after her. He nodded, and headed to the kitchen.

Jin: Jagi—-

The boys whistled and laughed.

Tae: Jagi. Omo, that's fast Jin-ah.

Jin: Yah. Of course, can't let this moment pass by right? Jagi? I'm hungry too.

Jin Li: Come, stop that. Or else, they won't let us go back here.

Jin: It's okay. We can stay at ——

Tae: Yah! Let's eat.

They all had breakfast together. They were all having fun teasing Jin & Jin Li, admiring the two, and anticipating their upcoming trip. Jin took a deep breath, and whispered "sarangheo" to Jin Li, who returned the moment with a smile.

Jin looked at Tae, at RM, and back at Jin Li. I won't let her be with him again, I don't want to see her broken again.
